I have been using this off and on for years now on our furbabies! Works very well to relieve itching and help heal ouchies, quite quickly I might add, just a time or two in most cases! Most of our pets, we have found licking themselves after application, but none have not had an issue with doing so. It does not leave a sticky residue, just runny. Our animals seem to know and like that when we come out with the blue bottle, that it’s going to help them! ☺️ Pricey, but worth it! Keep an eye out for deals, subscribe and save, etc and utilize those to help make it more cost effective for your budget!

My large dog had a raw spot about the size of a quarter on her hip....not sure what happened to cause the wound, but it seemed to bother her a lot. Based on the reviews of this product, I ordered it, but I was skeptical that it would help much. To my surprise...this medicated spray works great!!! Just one day after treatment, I could see improvement on the raw spot (no open wound; it was a flat very reddened area that appeared to be infected). I also like that it is in spray form because it made treating the wound easy. After about a week of applying this medicine, her wound has healed. I highly recommend this product.

Worked really well to help with the healing of a wound my dog had on her nose. It helped her stop itching it and reopening the wound.I was using a cone but it doesn’t help as well because the wound was on her nose and she can reach it with the cone I had.But definitely recommend this product but I did use a dog safe sterile solution and some gauze to clean it before using this spray. Please talk to your vet about what’s appropriate but adding this step definitely helps.

What cat likes to be sprayed in the face? Not my cat, at least. I wish they made this in a pump gel instead of a spray which would be easier to administer, but even so, I love this product.I had to take one star ONLY for the fact that I would rather not have to spray this on gauze first before treating my animal.It seems that the formulation of the Veticyn anti microbial spray has been working. This product is a game changer for pets with chronic skin issues. Ask your vet before administering anything to your little fur babies. I have a three year old orange tabby cat named Tobi who had been to a few vet appointments recently and been diagnosed with a yeast infection in both ears due to seasonal allergies. I had been instructed by the vet to give him 5 drops of antibiotics per ear for two weeks. Poor guy was scratching so much and shaking his head, but when the antibiotics wore off I decided to try Veticyn wound spray as it is formulated with a healing ingredient. I love opossums and they often hang out in my backyard. One night a female showed up having obviously just been bitten. She had a patch of hair torn from her side and 2 puncture wounds that were red & bloody but not actively bleeding. Other than that she seemed just hungry and thirsty as usual. She’s a wild animal and I don’t ever touch them unless it’s to help. I didn’t want to frighten her by grabbing her and I know from experience an animal like this will be put down if I called animal control. They’re not even open in the middle of the night where I live anyways and most are taken to a local 24-hr vet during the evening for triage, etc. There’s only a certain amount of $ provided by the county hat can be spend to treat each animal based on their estimated possibility of survival. I quickly grabbed my phone and ordered a bottle of Vetericyn Woundcare. It was one of the only wound sprays that could be delivered the next day but also had good reviews. I hoped the opossum would visit the next night so I could spray her and she did. Since I wasn’t able to touch her, I adjusted the nozzle to fan out (instead of stream) and offered her some food w one hand while I sprayed her side w the bottle w the other. I sprayed 3-4 really direct sprays all over the wound. She’d obviously been bitten by another animal and it had torn off her fur. I didn’t see her for a week after that but when she came, it looked like the puncture wounds were healing just fine. But on her other side, she had another patch of missing fur and more puncture wounds! I again sprayed her and hoped for the best. I didn’t see her for 3-4 weeks but when she came back around, I could see the wounds had closed up w no infection and the fur was growing back. This made me very happy! I’m thrilled w this product. I wasn’t sure how she’d keep those wounds from getting infected but w this woundcare spray, it wasn’t an issue. I would definitely recommend Vetericyn Woundcare. It worked for me and my opossum. And who says only cats have 9 lives?

This spray works wonders! I used it on my dog’s small cut, and it helped keep the wound clean and heal quickly. I love that it’s safe if licked, which gives peace of mind. Super easy to apply and definitely something I’ll always keep on hand for my pets.

This is a big spray bottle of the handiest wound care solution for pets (although marked for animal use, it is the same formula as Puracyn for humans). This stuff is amazing, and I keep it for wounds/scratches, etc on my dogs, and also my husband and I use it on ourselves. Doesn't really sting, kills bacteria, and promotes quick healing. We always have it in the house. It does not stain skin, it's a clear solution, however, if sprayed on clothing, it may bleach color. (Have to try it on spot stains on whites, haha)

This product saved my dog. He had 2 gashes on his back near his shoulder from getting caught under a fence the day I found him. With proper treatment this spray healed him. No pain. And now he's happier and healed. You can't even see the scars cause his fur grew back.
