Works well! No issues here
Stuck this in my Steamdeck - although Valve advises not to use this size. I had no issues at all. It worked straight away. Check Youtube for 2242 SSD Steam deck and you'll see my video there lol. Nice cheap alternative to buying an expensive 2230 SSD.

Use with Steam Deck at own risk.
This review is written for the use case of Steam Deck.I mistakenly got this SSD to upgrade the internal storage for my Deck (before doing proper research, silly me). Its advised that you do not use this drive though as it can lead to overheating issues with certain components that are in close proximity.That being said, it does (very snugly) fit in the Deck and works fine.Discretion is advised. It may be a cheaper alternative to the 2230 drives but honestly I wouldn’t want to risk the health of my Deck, and would rather get a larger micro SD and take the hit of slightly slower load times.
