It's not hard to get the 6yo to wear his PPE when it looks cool and matches his bike! We got him on if the hiboy electric dirty bikes as a starter bike and got this kit to go with it. Kid loves it. He's wrecked a couple times and not a tear was shed. Happy kid = happy parents

My son who is 6 started bmx this year. His older cousin has been doing it a few years prior. Day one my son went and was racing his cousin and took a bad wipeout going over handle bars. My son did not cry finished the practice lap but did not want to go again. When he got home he showed us his battle wounds. Due to safty and trying to pursaude my son to get back on the bike i bought these he wears them and is riding bmx and loves the safty he feels he does not wear all the gear but he says its comfortable and safe and i feel good quality product!

So so so grateful that these are well made and sturdy. My 7 year old loves to ride his dirt bikes and he is ADHD. Need I say more? Everything is still in one piece and so is he! Everyone wins. And he never complains about having to wear it. He says it's very comfy and fits him great.
