Curel Itch Defense Instant Soothing Moisturizing Spray for Dry Itchy Skin - 6 Oz

Every fall it starts, no matter how much I hydrate, my skin gets itchy, especially in the center of my back. It is so hard to reach with lotions and creams. This cured it in three sprays. The spray button is very hard to depress the first few times, but after that, it depresses easily and is easy to aim and spray. Will buy it again for sure.

This really works! Not greasy, quickly absorbs, does not smell. The spray nozzle is a little hard to press but still like the fact that it is a spray design. Giving 5 stars because I use it everyday and will definitely be buying again.

I first used this product several months back when I had really itchy skin during the winter months. My skin was super dry and itchy, and I've always been a fan of Curel for my face lotion, so I decided to give this itch defense spray a chance. I was surprised at how soothed and calm my skin felt after the initial spray. I ended up passing this on to my mom, who got really bad hives and needed some sort of relief. Unfortunately these don't really assist with hives, but they were able to produce a placebo effect as well as calm her down during the most itchy moments.We ended up running out of the product - and when the summer months started, my grandma began getting really itchy skin (I guess it runs in the family!) as well as experiencing hives. We ordered this Curel Itch Defense for her, which she really liked. She said it gave her piece of mind as well as calmed down her flare-ups without being too oily or wet for her skin. I really enjoyed it because of the slight tingly sensation I felt after applying. I do think that you don't get as much in the can as you would from lotion because it's a spray. Also, sometimes the spray function didn't work as well as I wanted to, so I would push down too hard and release too much spray. Other than that, this was a lifesaver during our times of need!

Poor dispensing mechanism. Tends to spray in a stream instead of atomizing and is difficult to depress sprayer, especially with wet hands. Even though it is unscented, it still has a slight chemical smell. This is the only Curel product I have not been satisfied with, and will not purchase again.

The spray mechanism on this is so difficult that I have to place it on a counter and lean on it with my thumb on the sprayer. Not for senior citizens with arthritis. It also comes out in a foamy glob instead of a true spray. Waste of my money--I was hoping this would solve my mobility problems getting to an itchy back. SSDD.

This gets to the places on my back that I can't reach. It helps relieve the itch and soothes my dry skin. Be cautious when putting on your clothes. It can take a little time to dry.

The nozzle for this clogs all the time, even after being wiped off. When it finally sprays, it just spits out great big lumps of lotion. Cannot spray mist on lower back. Also tends to leave big blobs on the floor. Vaseline spray worked much better.

She has dry skin on her ankles but as a senior citizen with limited mobility she often finds it difficult to add lotion on her own. It is easy for her to spray this and get instant relief.
