Easy to install, easy to check the voltage, works as described. We received it a week ago, I charged it fully and installed it. We have a new recliner and I have been running it back and forth more often than normal. I have charged my iPhone twice on the USB port. The phone was less than 50% and I charged it fully each time. I have also charged my laptop three times through the USB port, and sometimes leave it plugged in while I work on it.When I charge the Ibook it reduces the battery percentage noticeable, however after all that the battery is now at 33%. I have only charged it the one time and plan on letting it drop to 25% before recharging. At this rate that will be a few more days before it reaches 25%. When I don't use the USB it only drops a few percent per day.I believe after I have had this for a while I will be able to get a good 3 or 4 weeks between charges if I don't use the USB port. I may try to update this review to let you know how long It lasts in a few months.I really don't know if it is a value for the money so I gave that a 3 star. I have nothing to compare it to, as this is the first furniture battery I have ever bought. I'm not sure how a more expensive battery could work better, unless it is higher amperage. (which would increase the price)Yes this is a good battery. I would advise you to disregard the one star reviews. You can't go wrong with this.

Long lasting battery life
I bought a new reclining sectional for my living room but did not think about it having to be plugged into the wall. This was the perfect fix for that. It plugs right into the back of the couch and slides right under the couch so you cant see it. It is large but again you don't see it. The battery lasts about a week so I just unplug is once a week before bed and charge it and plug it back in the morning. It also will tell you what the battery life is at if you press the button so that is very helpful so it doesn't die on you unexpectedly. Takes a few hours to charge so I recommend doing it over night.

The 90-degree plug is a feature worth paying extra for
First let me first say, there was an issue with the compatibility of the battery with my furniture's on/off light. It would hold a full charge for about a week but would then drain quickly. Apparently, this is uncommon, and I just had the misfortune of pairing the two items together. However, Blue Cactus's customer service was extremely patient and helpful while I reached out to the furniture manufacturer, and we were eventually able to come up with a satisfactory solution. It was refreshing to work with a company that stood behind their product... so, for that, they get five stars :-)Even though they had offered a full refund, I was determined to make the batteries work because the back of my furniture is visible, and the 90-degree plug is more aesthetically pleasing. The only thing I might change is to make the cord that plugs into the furniture a few inches longer to have more flexibility in placing the battery under the furniture out of view. Other than that, they're well-made and I hope to get many years of use from them.

Battery Life is Terrible - No Actual Company
I seldom leave negative reviews but this product simply doesn't work and there is no customer service available to even request help.Ordered my The Blue Cactus furniture battery after reading several positive reviews on Amazon. Some of the reviews said that the battery did not last, but others advised that if you stuck with it through 3-5 full charge cycles it would then hold the charge. Others pointed out that those who experienced fast draining battery problems probably had lots of things using the battery, such as power headrests, always lighted cup holders or touch pads, USB ports for charging phones, etc. Since my need was to power a Steelcase loveseat that only had the normal reclining back and footrest, and none of the other power drains, I figured the 2500mAh battery should easily handle my loveseat and last a long time. Also, my recliner is in a finished basement and doesn't get used all that much.Received my battery pack 1/27/22, charged it, and it easily plugged into the rear of the recliner. Compliments to the Blue Cactus on its good packaging and clear & simple instruction manual. The battery digital display was clear and showed a 100% charge. I sat on the recliner and and went up and down 5 times to test it, and it worked flawlessly. The next night I went down and used the recliner again, no problem. I went down the 3rd night and nothing. The battery had no charge, but I didn't panic because the reviews pointed out that a few recharge cycles may be needed for it to hold a charge.I recharged the battery to 100%, plugged it into the recliner, and it worked fine. I didn't use the recliner for a few days, but the next time I went down the battery was totally discharged. I recharged it to 100% and set it aside because we were leaving on a 3 week vacation in February. When I got back I checked the battery, and it was totally discharged, but I was still hopeful because I had been gone for 3 weeks. Recharged, replugged, reclined - it worked...for 3 days again before it went totally dead. Thought I would give it one more try, so recharged to 100% the fourth time, plugged it into the recliner, but decided to not even use the recliner but check the battery every 24 hours. Day 2 - 100%. Day 3 - 100%. Day 4 - 0%.Figuring that I had a dud battery (it can happen, I suppose), and knowing that I was out of the 30 day Amazon return window, decided to call The Blue Cactus to see what I should do. That's when I found that if one goes to thebluecactuscompany.com they have one page that is a nice advertisement for their battery pack. And nothing else. No phone number, no email, no mailing address...nothing. Returning to the Amazon page there is a 90 day Product Support option (I've got 1 or 2 days left) that I will try. Oh, it also lists the company's address, which according to Google maps is a residence outside Nashville. Will update if anything good happens when I contact product support.Given the other positive reviews, I assume that they are not "planted" and other folks are having good experiences. So my advice is simply this; if you order the product, charge it and try it out quickly to see if it holds a charge. If not, make sure you return it within the Amazon return policy...don't assume it will begin to work after additional charge cycles. Otherwise you will wind up with a $128 paperweight, like I did.Good luck!

Convenient battery pack for recliner
This battery pack is great for my love seat recliner. No cords to deal with or unsightly cords under my area rug. Easy to plug in/out. Only issue is that it needs to be charged about every 3 weeks. I would rather have to charge it often than deal with electrical cords.

Works well
Holds a charge well. We do not use a lot but have only needed to recharge every two or three months. I have been please with the quality of this product and how long it holds a charge.
