A great starter feeder
Good product! Looks nice hanging there, and (after a while) very popular with birds. Squirrels also love it, but that’s inevitable. I’ve had it a few months now, and it’s fairly sturdy. One the the birds and squirrels were in a kind of feeding frenzy and I think the squirrels got a bit rough, so the house was falling apart where the wall pieces snap together and snap to the floor, but it was fixable and looks fine again now. I’d give this as a gift to someone looking for a basic, attractive feeder. If I buy another I might want to try one that could accommodate larger birds/multiple feed types.

For The Birds!
Our family has enjoyed watching many birds get their breakfast and dinner from our new bird feeder. We have attracted several types from Blue Jays, Woodpeckers to a beautiful family of Cardinals. One thing the description says is that it’s squirrel proof. Well, as with many feeders, this one is not either. Squirrels are way too smart. I’ve only had to chase one away. The cool thing is, the birds that land on the feeder knock enough seed on the ground that the squirrels do not bother the feeder. Plus, I will occasionally throw sunflower seeds on the ground around it.When I set it up I found that it the cable tended to slip and spin a bit. So I added a simple zip tie shown in photo and that took care of the issue. One other fact some may not know including myself. Birds love spicy food/seed! Squirrels and raccoons do not!! There is a product here on amazon that can be mixed with the seeds if your problem is really bad. However, like I said, they just get the seed from the ground and don’t bother the feeder. We have really enjoyed this feeder and will be getting another. 100% recommended!

Birds love it.
The media could not be loaded. I've been using this feeder since August (6 months) and so far it attracted a wide variety of birds (upstate NY). I had to add some modifications to make sure big birds like Blue Jays can easily land on it. It's easy to refill, quite sturdy (survived numerous squirrel jumps on it), and easy to clean the bottom tray. The species that it attracted so far (bear in mind the additional platform that helps birds land on it) are Blue Jays, Chickadees, Carolina Wrens, Woodpeckers (Downy, Hairy, Red-bellied), Nuthatches, Goldfinches, Sparrows, Cardinals, Juncos, Titmice, Finches.

Very cute bird feeder
This is a very sturdy bird feeder, as the squirrels hang themselves over the roof to get to the seed, and so far the hanger has stood up to that abuse. It is easy to fill. The chimney comes off to fill from the top. I use a funnel seed scoop, and it holds a large amount of seed. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five was the way it arrived. The first one was thrown in a box with no packaging or even a tag attached. It looked used, and was broken along the roof. Amazon sent a new one, and made it so easy to return the defective one. The second one came packaged the same way, but had a tag and was not broken.I have it hanging next to the North States Small White Barn birdfeeder, and they look cute side by side. They have held up very well against the weather (and the squirrels).

Very cute red schoolhouse bird feeder
I bought the red schoolhouse bird feeder. It is very cute. I was able to easily open the top where the feed gets poured into the feeder, but I am not sure how to open the bottom of the feeder which is necessary when it comes time to clean it. I see four red tabs which I thought slide, but they don't, unless they are stuck. Anyone know how to open the bottom tray? The printed cardboard says the tray removes for cleaning, but it does not say how to remove it. Since I already have a bird feeder outside, I am holding off on using this cute red schoolhouse bird feeder until I am able to open it for eventual cleaning. Meanwhile I have it hanging inside my living room as a decoration. Goes well with my western decor. I've searched through Amazon for a toy red schoolhouse about this size, but haven't found anything close to this adorable cute bird feeder.
