Great Medium-Sized Pack
I was looking for a bag that could fit my 15.6" laptop and a few other everyday items comfortably. Since I take public transit to work every day I didn't want a bag that was too big or bulky and could just fit essential items -- laptop, charger/cables, lunch, my kindle, and a notebook. This bag fits my needs perfectly. It appears to be well made and light-weight. I have only been consistently using it for a few weeks now, but I do not foresee any issues in terms of rips or zipper breaks. My back has never felt stressed by using this backpack and it rests comfortably when worn. The bag also has a nice look to it that is both casual but also allows it to pass in a professional way in which most backpacks could not.The main compartment has ample space for a laptop and a notebook while the front smaller pocket has been perfect for putting my lunch in. I don't really use the small accessory pocket on the top, but it has been a nice place to store my phone charger and phone on the off chance I don't have it in my pocket. The side pockets also provide additional space and are decent for fitting a standard size water or soda bottle. My two complaints: The side pockets work well for most items, but I wish that one of them were a little bigger or perhaps the mesh material that some backpacks have on the side. I haven't even tried bringing in my large Nalgene Water Bottle because I know there is no way it will fit in the side pocket. The top handle also seems to hold the weight awkwardly. I think the handle is more attached to the straps than to the actual bag so that when you grasp it, the weight falls down and forward rather than being squarely and securely in the middle. This may help the backpacks low profile and keep it feeling slimmer so it is not a huge complaint, but just something of note. For the price of ~$30 this backpack is a steal for anyone who wants to carry everyday essentials without excessive bulk.Pros:Well constructedLow profile, medium-sized, not too bulkyLight-weight, comfortablePriceLots of pockets for organizationStylishCons:Side pockets bad for larger water bottlesTop handle seems to hold weight awkwardlyCould be too small for someOverall, this backpack suits my everyday needs perfectly and is well worth the $32.44 I spent on it. Students or people who need extra amounts of space for textbooks or other materials should look elsewhere, but if you are looking for a medium-sized bag to fit everyday essentials, look no further. The cons to the pack are trivial enough to me that I do not hesitate from giving it 5 stars.

Sized right and priced right ...
Older laptop backpack I had fit 15 inch laptop OK but when I upgraded to 16 in. laptop, it did not fit. This backpack accommodates 16 in. size no problem. Yeah, the bag is bit squarish but practical implication of the design is that the form follows the function, where the primary function is to securely transport a laptop/notebook as the name implies and secondarily carry other items such as books. As such, it does a superb job. To complain that it cannot carry large amounts of books is missing the point. You can find more expensive and better built bags from the likes of SwissGear but I find their bags to be way too heavy for my liking and purpose. This bag is well padded, well constructed, not too big, and relatively light, purpose built for routine urban/suburban lifestyle, not for hiking Himalayas. The shoulder straps are wide and comfortable and design is understated and unobtrusive, which is what I want when I'm carrying loads of electronic gears, i.e. laptop, tablet, iPod, cameras, chargers, batteries, and cellphone.Felt lined top pocket is great for carrying delicate and easily scratched items. I like the fact that all the exterior pockets are secured with zippers and the built-in fastener holds the excess strap in a tidy fashion and prevents them from flopping around. Well designed and well built laptop backpack for around $30 is an excellent value.

Very spacious backpack - lots of pockets
I am replacing my old belkin backpack which lasted me several years. I had several options to choose from which included this one, Samsonite, and incase. I have a few accessories (mouse, power cord, extra battery, usb flash drives) plus I like to carry my gym close around so I wanted something large enough for me to carry these things. So it was important to have room and not to mention look stylish doing it.The Samsonite one I looked at was a very close winner. In fact, I was in line at the store about to checkout with it when something told me I could find something I would like more somewhere else. So I put the backpack back and left. The Incase backpacks look really nice but I don't like spending that much money on a backpack I bring to work. This one seemed just right. After I received it, I put all my usual belongings in there and it didn't stretch out my backpack which is a plus. Seemed like it had extra room too even after my clothes. It had the feel of a regular backpack and the cushioning was very standard around the 15.6" laptop I have. I wish they had some top cushioning in case I somehow flipped my backpack or maybe even a strap to lock it in place so it doesn't slide out.The straps were very neat. Seemed like the usual straps which they are but they made it so that you don't have loose straps hanging around and it seems to ensure that they won't come undone or loose by accident. This also has a little extra cushion at the bottom of the pack so that it won't hurt your tail bone region.I liked how you have 4 different compartments to put all your things so you don't get them all mixed together. My old pack didn't have that. It's a good back pack over all. I'm glad it was in my price range too.
