Just what I needed to add more!

Two basic cold shoe mounts, which I used to make a DIY mic boom for my GoPro. Note that there are small stop-screws on these cold shoe mounts that keep your flash or mic or whatever from sliding too far. These stop screws orient the cold shoes, so that you slide your mic or flash on one way.Solid, simple, and well made. I have no problem with these.For glueing I sanded the backs a bit to rough them up.

These make for great additions to various camera rig approaches. These seem to be of good quality so we don't see them failing on us any time soon. The only concern is then keeping from loosening up in certain installed situations. For these occasions, we advise apply a small bit of Loctite to them before screwing them to whatever rig you have going. This will prevent them from ever loosening on you and spinning any. I drilled and tapped some holes in a camera of mine to add a cold shoe. These were the perfect fit for the camera and allowed me to mount a viewfinder and have it be removable rather than permanently attaching it to the camera. I also attached one to a flash umbrella stand to accept a Speedlite. Worked like a charm

Really happy with these cold shoe mounts, I used them on my Varavon GH4 cage and they worked great, low profile, nice black finish and blended right in with my rig. The 2 pack comes with double sets of screws and allen wrenches, so you have more than enough to get these mounted and a spare in case a thread ever gets stripped.
