Thin, protective, and form-fitting, but durability and sweat is a concern
[Possession Time: I have had these forearm sleeves for 67 days since June 4th, when it was delivered.][Payment: I have paid for this product fully, with no discount of any kind.]PERFORMANCE/ADVERTISED USE:+The padding is a bit thin, but absorbs shock well. While testing this product by hitting my forearm, I've noticed that there is no pain when using this guard compared to not having it.+ Protects well against little to moderate impactFIT:+They fit well due to both the spandex material and the shape of the mini-hex pads, which allows the entire sleeve to conform around any arm size and shape.-The padding itself will move when impacted or movingFEEL:+The material was comfortable and thin, not too tight if sized correctly.+/-The material was breathable and allows sweat to be aired out, but this does not hold true where the padding is. Sweat tends to accumulate where the padding is.DURABILITY:+Withstands direct impacts with little pulling-The sleeve easily catches on anything rough if rubbed at an angle due to the spandex material. Whether it be velcro or concrete, the sleeve gets caught and gets damaged as a result. Within a few months, the sleeve may be pulled to pieces.MAINTENANCE:+It was machine washable and dry-able, although I prefer to use cold water and air-dry as stretchy material seems to lose its elasticity fastest when thrown in a dryer

I bought a pair of these to give my forearms ...
I bought a pair of these to give my forearms a little protection during my self defense classes. I'm a Krav Maga student and we were training weapons defenses techniques that consisted of a lot of forearm to forearm (bone on bone) impact. Use your imagination - when trained realistically and multiple times per week, that results in a bit of bruising. These sleeves helped give me just enough cushion that I could continue to train hard without holding back. I would definitely buy them again, though I would likely order a size bigger next time as the size I chose is a little tight by the elbow.

9inx8in arm is snug for size medium
My daughter is 11 y/o. The circumference of the largest part of her forearm is 9 inches. The length from elbow to wrist is 8 inches. These fit snug like a pair of socks. It concerns me because when it's snug, it's difficult to put on when her arm is sweating. We use it when she's catching for her softball team. It doesn't hurt her forearm when the ball hits it when she blocks. We'll try it for a game this weekend, but most likely we'll return it and keep the Champro's size large. The quality is decent, but may be too small.

Low profile, good protection, sharp look
I coach my son's PopWarner team, he is 8, soon to be 9 and his little brother is 6. We bought the XS and they fit both well (younger brother has a slightly thicker build than his big brother). They are really low profile, but seem to offer about as much protection as the old style white ones you aging parents will remember. Low enough to wear underneath other layers on cold days. I wish they did a sleeve with both the forearm and elbow in one, but these are great. I would recommend them as a must have for kids starting football. Helmets to the arm hurt at any age, especially for little guys without muscle to protect their bones. When kids get aggressive and start running through tackles and blocks with their shoulder, the forearm naturally will come up and contact the other player. If its padded, there is a lot less chance of it being painful and therefore a lot bigger chance that your kid will be willing to be aggressive in that way. I have recommended these to my entire team.

Why go without???
Purchased for my 90lb / 10yr old son playing Jr.PeeWee football as suggested by one of the coaches. I think it should be standard football padding (why go without?)...I'm very happy that he won't play without them. The X-Small fit was perfect for my 5th grader and wears them under a long sleeve compression shirt (SUB DUAL Med Youth). These pads have added to his game (Nose Tackle and Center). He's hitting harder with more confidence... I'm very happy I made the purchase. The only complaint has been the tightness around the upper inside arm (tender skin area) because of the elastic band that keeps it from slipping...just a little red, nothing serious. I'll tape the area if it rashes on him, but it hasn't been an issue (yet).

Comfortable, moisture-wicking arm pads that are easily reversible
I study a martial art named To Shin Do and needed an arm guard that I could rotate around my arm depending on whether I needed to protect the inside or outside, and most guards are outside only. While these are really thin and you still feel the strikes, they do soften the blows a little but also provide a great moisture-wicking surface to help keep you cool when sweating. I've gotten to the point now where I wear them all the time during training to keep cool, not just when practicing strikes.

Disappointing product control
Bought for my son who plays football. The package came with two padded sleeves. One of the sleeves had multiple seams unraveling with strings longer than 12". Very disappointing.

light and breathable
I didn't want to over accessorize, but I kept coming back from mountain biking with little cuts and bruises on my forearms from prickers and branches sticking out into the trail. These were reasonably priced so I gave them a try. I was worried that I wouldn't use them because they would be too hot, but the fabric is thin, and the pad isn't solid so it breathes well. They stay up on my arms I havent had to adjust them on the trail. I haven't had them for too long, but they seem reasonably durable. and, not cuts or bruises yet.

Worth every penny.
I got these for my dad who is in his 60s and is on medication that makes him bruise very easily on his forearms and also thins his skin so tears easily. He's still very active but had the constant fear of hurting himself, which put him off doing quite a lot of things. That was until I got him these. He says after a couple of minutes he forgets they are there because they are that comfy. They keep his arms cool with no sweating and support his arms and wrists (he has arthritis). The best thing is seeing him with full confidence again and seeing the bruising going from his arms because they fully protect him when worn. He says they have given him his life back. Well worth every penny and arrived quickly.

Seem pretty good, but sizing is off. Try one size up.
I ordered a S size because I'm rather small. Unfortunately, it looks like a M would have been more suited, I can barely keeps these on without being annoyed with the current size. Aside from that, they look very cool, easy to put on and the padding pretty resistant. Not sure if I will be able to use them (I can find someone else who needs them just in case), but I'm looking forward to doing that.

Good but quite rigid. Great for gruelling OCR.
Great design and a life (forearm) saver for a long, wet OCR!! My only complaint which - depending on the diameter of you arms and depth of muscle definition, could be a deal breaker - is his inflexible the material is around the cuffs at either end. I found them very tight and quite inflexible. They stayed in place really well but were very uncomfortable after only about 4km of OCR track. They did really well in the dirt and wet of OCR conditions and I would recommend them. But, for the manufacturer the material could have been more flexible and seams less rough - I’d have saved myself a week of raw chaffy grazes!!

Good padding for disabled person
Purchased for someone who is disabled and needs arm pads to be able to do simple things like brushing teeth while leaving on the sink using forearms. Measured and purchased small as it was the correct size but it felt too tight for her so ended up ordering xl as it's easier to pull on and off. So if you are looking for something as I was to help take impact off the forearms for an elderly or disabled person, please note the exact size as the person's measurements will be hard to pull on and off. Xl is great though and she says it really helps now as her forearms don't get sore from leaning on the sink, counter tops etc. Hope that helps.

SERIOUS FOREARM PROTECTION
Excellent product, really pleased. Well made, quality materials & do not slide down the arm with heavy usage. They do what it says on the tin: they provide serious forearm protection, rather than simply compression. I am prescribed blood thinners, every bang and nick from training looked like a massacre took place, no longer. Money well spent.
