Comfortable, Easy, Effective
The media could not be loaded. I got this split to ease my chronic and severe plantar fasciitis. I've been wearing nighttime splints for the pain since 2008, so I've tried a lot of them. Most recently, I was using bulky splits/boots and found them to be so awkward that they were uncomfortable and hard to sleep in. I didn't wear them as often as I needed them and usually took them off in the night, obviously reducing their effectiveness. After a lot of research and reading reviews I decided to give these a try. I wasn't sure how those straps on both sides of the foot were going to work out but after wearing them for a couple of weeks, I really like these splints. They give me good relief. I think they are going to be my favorite style. They are comfortable, open and airy so my feet don't overheat, easy to put on and take off, easy to adjust, easy to sleep in, and easy to walk to the bathroom in - all of this leads me to using them every night, all night.

Stability and Comfort
The Velcro straps make this one of the most adjustable braces I’ve tried this year. It fits however you need it to. I really like how you can gradually increase the angle of the straps that are meant to hold the foot at a 90degree angle. In the beginning of this injury, I couldn’t sleep at night because my previous brace only held it at a 90degree angle. It was uncomfortable and I would wake up to remove it, just to reawaken with more pain. This brace is designed so that you can angle your feet at what feels comfortable until you’re actually able to comfortably sleep through the night with your foot angled at 90 degrees. The quality of the fabrics and cushions also make these comfortable to sleep in. I always sleep with socks on, so I don’t know what they feel like on just your skin.

A Painful Letdown: Disappointing Experience with Plantar Fasciitis Night Splint
My experience with the Plantar Fasciitis Night Splint has been nothing short of a painful letdown. In my search for relief from the discomfort of plantar fasciitis, this product has failed to deliver on its promises, leaving me with frustration and discomfort. To begin with, the discomfort of wearing the night splint is significant. The design of the splint itself is bulky and cumbersome, making it challenging to sleep comfortably while wearing it. The rigid structure presses against the foot and ankle, causing discomfort and even pain during the night. Instead of providing relief, the splint adds to the overall discomfort I was hoping to alleviate. The fit of the night splint is problematic as well. Despite adjustments, it proved difficult to achieve a snug and secure fit that wouldn't shift during sleep. This lack of proper fit not only affects the effectiveness of the splint but also contributes to the discomfort and inconvenience of wearing it.Furthermore, the night splint failed to provide the intended relief for my plantar fasciitis. Instead of experiencing a reduction in pain or improved mobility, I found that the splint exacerbated my discomfort. The pressure and constriction caused by the splint made my foot feel even more sore and stiff in the morning.Additionally, the product's build quality is questionable. The materials used felt flimsy and cheap, raising concerns about the durability and longevity of the splint. Considering the discomfort and inconvenience of wearing the splint, the subpar build quality only adds to the feeling that the product is not worth the investment. In conclusion, the Plantar Fasciitis Night Splint has been a regrettable purchase that failed to provide the relief I was seeking. Its uncomfortable design, poor fit, lack of effectiveness, and subpar build quality make it a product I cannot recommend. If you're dealing with plantar fasciitis and seeking a solution, I strongly advise exploring alternatives from reputable brands that have a proven track record of delivering effective pain relief and comfort. This night splint has left me with more discomfort and frustration than before, and I deeply regret investing in a product that fell so short of its promises.

Good night split upgrade
UPDATE: After a few months, I found that the velcro stopped sticking well to the felt on the ankle straps. They would often pop open in the middle of the night. My workaround has been to tie a ribbon around my ankles nightly to keep the straps in place. Also, these are not designed for large feet. I wear a US Women's 10, and I think that if I had much larger feet, these would be too small. Most likely, it'll work best for most women or men with small feet. If you have feet a size or more larger than I do, you may want to look for a different option. However, I am still wearing them nightly, and they do still seem to be helping, even with design flaws. I have reduced my review by a star to reflect the above.ORIGINAL REVIEW:For a couple of years, I've been using one of the single strap night splints, and it has helped immensely. Alas, it has finally fallen apart, and I needed a new one. The double straps appealed to me as being a better way of keeping my feet at the right angle. It is also clear that I need a splint for both feet, so the 2-pack was ideal. These really do help me reduce the amount of heel pain I experience in the mornings, and they are generally helping with some arch pain issues I have.If you have never worn one of these before, you will probably need a few days adjusting. Even I, who has been using a different version for 2 years, took a few days to get them properly adjusted and to adjust myself. For starters, the aluminum bar: your instinct will be just to bend it where your ankle crease is. If you do that, it will dig uncomfortably into your ankle. What you want to do is put a slight bend at that center point, and then bend the bar into a curve around that center point. This will keep the bar from digging into your ankle while still allowing you to keep the proper angle.Similar point about the foot and ankle straps: you want to have them tight enough to stay in place, but not so tight they uncomfortably constrict things. (If you're like me, you will feel uncomfortable having your toes confined and will need some adjusting to make sure the band is around the pad of your foot without being around your toes.)Even once you've adjusted the fit properly, if you've never worn one of these, you may find it'll be a few nights before you can comfortably make it through the night wearing them. My first 3-4 nights with these, even after already wearing another for years, I found myself taking one or both of them off before waking up in the morning. If you're a stomach sleeper, you'll probably need to do some adjusting to how you position your feet in order to sleep comfortably in these. (They will be easiest for side and back sleepers, but I can tell you, as a stomach/side sleeper, it IS possible to adjust to these.)All in all, I do highly recommend these as an excellent way to alleviate plantar fasciitis related pain without needing medication.
