This is exactly what I’ve been looking for to store my dry cat food.seems to be airtight, and will keep the food fresh.

This product is good and small for a good amount of food to give your pets

I am a big fan of this line of products.The Vittles Vault Jr., is a great way to travel with your dog and not worry about how to take 4-5 days worth of food. I used to do a gallon sized ziplock bag have a scoop in it, or two bags. But those can tear and critters (if camping or cottage) can sniff it out.This is a simple and easy way to eliminate the hassle. Just pour in dog food and you are good to go with a serving cup/bowl to boot. The quality is great and I am very pleased. I keep cat food in the 25 lb. container and daily dog food in a 40 lb. container. The food stays fresh much longer too.Note: when I purchased the Vittles Vault Jr., it came without the pop off cup/bowl. I contacted Amazon and they sent me another Vittles Vault Jr.. Again, no cup. So I contacted the seller and they sent out two lids immediately.Amazon also contacted me and said they had been in touch with the seller and the problem was fixed. I am giving this item a 5 star rating because I have had several of these products and they are worth the money, the customer service both at Amazon and the seller were great and fixed the issue quickly. I really believe the issue I was having was a temporary glitch.I have found these products (the 25 lb. airtight container and the 40 lb. air tight container) to be durable and have lasted for years. I expect the same of this Vittles Vault Jr.If not the case I will update.

no gasket to block scent for camping. I don't trust this as a bear canister for camping. But helpful, holds about 13 cups of kibble each

I have lots of different dog treats and hated having all of these bags in my cabinet. Also, I started having ants getting in them. This was the perfect solution! I put all of their treats in it and the ants are unable to get into it. It holds a large amount of treats too! I plan on using it for dog food whenever I have to board them. Great product!

I bought this to store pungent items. I already own a Gamma Vittles Vault bucket (10 lb., I believe), and it is AMAZING at locking out/in smells from Cat Nip, cat food and treats and keeping them fresh, but I wanted something even smaller, so this seemed like a no-brainer. Well, I was so wrong. First, the shape is kind of awkward- tall, narrow with a very narrow mouth so it is difficult to get things in and out. That I could've dealt with with, but most importantly, the cap is just a plain-old, regular screw on lid- not the same oddly threaded lid of the Vittles Vault bucket (which can be difficult to open and close, but also makes it so effectively airtight that not one bit odor escapes and things stay fresh in there), so this Vittles Vault Jr. is NOT airtight and odors escape like crazy. I expected the same threading as the bucket, and this plain threading just doesn't do anything. I will be returning this item and consider getting another bucket, even though it will be entirely too big for my needs. But being airtight and odor-free is more important. If, however, you are looking for something like a travel pet food holder and don't care about airtightness/odor, then this may work for you, but it will be too big to carry in a purse.

Handy container with a handy cup on the top. Does it keep animals out? NO! Unless I have some genius possums in my neighborhood, they figured out how to get in within 24 hours. This is great for inside but not for outside to fend off critters.

We bought this to travel with our dog and it was perfect. It fit a few days worth of food and the scoop it came with was super handy. Highly recommend!
