Absolutely cute and gorgeous
I'm slowly adding to my Creatures of Curiosity collection as love the quirky, goth Victorian style. This sugar basin is no exception. I noticed another reviewer had said they were unable to remove the lid. You have to gently lever it off as the manufacturer has put sticky pads underneath! Very happy with my new addition but was surprised it didn't arrive in the custom Creatures black box. It's no problem though and it seems to have survived the Amazon journey. Great price too!

Stunning...very pretty piece..
Beautiful sugar bowl...lid was tricky to open..it is stuck on purpose in 4 places with double sided tape..on the inside..you will need something to move it ..i used one side of some thin scissors..perhaps a knife..be gentle..but the lid is stuck and wont easily be pried off or opened...maybe a toothpick.. Beautifully wrapped and secure...

Love this - bought to complete the teapot, jug and sugar bowl trio. The quality is lovely, as you'd expect from Spode. Colours are rich and the pattern is quirky and elegant. I'm a fan of mismatching and you just can't beat animals, bugs and floral for a theme!
