Calphalon 1943332 Classic Nonstick Sauce Pan with Cover, 2.5 quart, Grey

This is a fantastic pan. It’s a great size, nonstick, has a drainer in the lid. We’d been looking for a good strong med sized sauce pan and this is it!!

Quality sauce, pan. Easy to clean, distributes the heat evenly and has a pour spout to use with the lid on.

my older model started having some superficial scratching in the surface, so i needed a replacement. this is the exact same size - my old lid even fit perfectly. very happy. I use this to make perfectly cooked rice, homemade refried beans (so much better from scratch!), hot chocolate (stock up on the williams sonoma during the holidays), and reheating small portions of soup. this is indispensable in my kitchen.

Just my husband and I now, and I hate getting a larger pot out and cleaning it. I’ve had this for several months and it’s perfect. Cleans easy, holds enough soup for two, use it even when I just throw a handful of pasta. I rarely use a microwave so I’m always looking for some ease..

These are nice saucepans, but the older lids with the silicon seals were better fits than the stainless rims on the lids today. Not a deal-breaker, but a step down from what they used to come with.
