This is great beginner kit. All the extra pieces that came with it were very useful as well. This was my first time with GUNPLA creation and it was great with using this kit.

I'm a rookie gunpla builder, I upgraded to this kit after using some metal nippers from a jewelry kit on a gunpla. This kit is significantly better than the previous tools.

This kit's not very much more expensive than the really cheap one I've frequently seen show up in the "users also bought" section under model kits. But it's pretty durable. I haven't really used the needle files. They seem kinda cheap but I found no reason to use them for what I bought the kit for. The sanding sticks wore out pretty fast, but, they are sanding sticks, so I'm not quite sure how much durability I should have expected from them. They worked well while they lasted. The hobby knife is a hobby knife, it does it's job, it comes with a lot of spare blades which is nice. The nippers are very sturdy, and they're the main reason I got this. A lot of kits like this have complaints with the nippers breaking or going dull quickly. I had no issues with these, and they feel good to use. I used the plastic separator thing once, it didn't damage what I used it on or get damaged itself so, I guess it works, another piece I didn't really have a use for but you never know when you might need it.Overall, solid kit for the price. Maybe buy some extra sanding sticks if you're doing a big kit and you're a real neat freak about polishing off those Spru marks like I am. If you need the needle files, I'd probably recommend getting some actually good ones.

Great kit. Small, handy and versatile. Great for beginners like me moving up to intermediate skill this kit holds up. Just wish there were color options for the sleeve but that's just aesthetic doesn't affect performance.
