True to its feature in purple “Less Mess”. The best clumping natural cat litter.
I’m hooked to this okocat litter. It clumps well and is then easy to lift in one scoop. Making the “less mess” characteristic of this okocat truly not messy at all. It’s the least dusty litter ever, it doesn’t leave dust over surfaces and furniture around the litter box like other litters do, thanks to the large pellets. Much better than the smaller pellets from this same brand. Neutral smell when fresh and covers or absorbs urine smell very well.

It works well
It works but a bit more dust than expected

Does the job!
Little to no odor and makes cleaning up very easy. It does tend to leave behind a bit of dust in the litter pan if not cleaned up right away.

Best litter so far: very low dust, no smell*, very low tracking
I recently adopted a medium-long haired kitten and have tried several different types of litter (scoopable clay, corn, and wood pellet) to find one that didn't have a perfumey smell or generate a lot of dust, as the clay litter triggered allergies and sneezing for my family and our new kitten. This is the best litter I have found. Since the pellets are large, they don't generate a fine cloud of dust when disturbed, which is better for our lungs, and the wood fiber they are made from has no smell. Also, only a few large pellets get kicked accidentally out of the box, which are easy to pick up, and we aren't walking on a gritty floor or experiencing litter getting tracked all over the house. Eww.We keep the box in the bathroom and there is no smell from urine at all, ever. Urine causes the pellets to swell and clump in a mass, that, if you scoop daily, are easy to remove intact. If you wait too long, the damp mass can break apart and is a little more effort to scoop. Fresh solids do smell because poop smells and the pellets don't cover those as well, but if you scoop them up right away it's not bad.I'm still looking for a good scoop that allows the larger pellets to easily pass through. Right now, I have to kind of sift those out with a side-to-side shaking motion to avoid wasting pellets when I scoop the box.

Great for long haired cats with kidney disease, but no poo odor control.
This brand can be hard to find and sometimes has an outrageous price because of that, not because it’s the holy grail of litter. NEVER pay more for this than you would any random litter. If you can get it cheaply, this is great for long haired caFirst the bad - if you need poo odor control, look elsewhere or mix this with another litter. When the cat drops a bomb, it’s as nasty as if they did it on the carpet. I will probably mix this with some walnut litter because while I prefer the pee-clumps of this brand, the poo smell lingers even when I scoop it out ASAP.That said - this is the BEST for long haired cats that pee a lot. I have an old cat with very furry feet - any type of clay litter cements to her toes and is horrible. Many types of non-clay can’t handle the amount of pee in one spot. This doesn’t stick to her AND it can absorb the insane amount of pee she produces. It does clump, though not like clay. It forms large, damp clumps that are easy to remove. You need a scoop with big holes to let the dry pellets fall through. You also have to scoop daily at the very least, though with the poo smell issue you will want to scoop more. There is zero pee smell though. When using these types of litter, a box liner is a big help. The damp clumps like to stick in corners and can be a pain to clean, but a tug on the liner pops them away.
