Very nice charger.
Works great and saved me from an expensive tow. My alternator went out and I was stuck on the side of the road. After I charged the battery, I took my car straight to the repair shop. It's so easy to use and it got my car started very quickly. I like this charger so much, I picked up two more. Make sure you keep it charged, so when you need it, it'll save you.

Worked as Advertised.
I used it only once to jump start a 4-cylinder car with dead batteries, then gifted it. After the jumpstart it still showed 100% charge, that, while it is obviously not possible, and probably the result of an inaccurate gage, still indicates that there is plenty of juice left. Worked as advertised. Then I bought a different, cheaper model that worked just as well, that I also reviewed, the Car Rover 1000A. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01JFSYUWG/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Saves the day
Light, easy to store in trunk. Should top up charge every 6 months or so. But though I did not, it still started car with completely dead battery in a few seconds. Inconvenient if your battery dies in the mall. Dangerous if it does so late at night in an unsafe area. Lost no time in ordering one for my wife's car as well. Worth every cent.

Massive dissapointment
I bought this to replace the older model, which had served me well for years. It was one of the original small jump packs and worked brilliantly for my 1.8 liter car, but I recently bought a new car, and the case on the old one was cracking. I had used the old one, but occasionally it would have a tough time jumping the car. It never failed, it just took several tries, and I was concerned it would eventually fail me.So, I purchased this updated model with better stats all around. The first couple of times I used it, it worked well enough. I really didn't notice much difference, if any, between this and the old one I had. Then, about a week ago it absolutely would not start my car. I tried for 20 minutes in the rain to get it going, but it wouldn't even try to turn over. I assumed my battery had finally had it, but I pulled out the old model and gave it a try anyway, just to see. What do you know, it started right up on the first try. I got into my now running car, pulled up the Amazon app, and immediately requested a return.I did try it once more before I boxed it up to send it back, and I had similar results. I've swapped it with a different brand that has not let me down yet, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I don't have to try a third brand. If you are thinking about the CPP12000, just don't. Keep looking. There are better options out there, and most cost less than this.

All the women in my family have one in their car
Everyone needs one of these in their car. It makes a dead battery something easy to fix. When my 16 year old daughter stops to help a woman stuck in a parking lot and jumps her car in 5 minutes, everyone is so impressed but its easy. Get one! Don't waste your time finding someone to drive up next to your car who has jumper cables and feels comfortable lifting a hood and looking for a battery and then hooking it up correctly. Yes, its not hard but it does freak some people out.

This has been the best investment I've made for my car
I bought this with the attention of solely using this as a portable charger and prayed that I would never have to use it to jump my car. However my car didn't start today and I had to use it. This has been the best investment I've made for my car. Jumping was fairly simple and I didn't even have to wait long. This is a must have for your car

Small, simple, and it works
Having a dead battery sucks, yeah? Asking for a jump is alright, as long as you have cables and someone to jump you. I keep a set of cables in my truck, but... Imagine having a dead battery when: you're the last person to leave work, and your battery is dead? Or you are headed to work at the crack of dawn? Or you're camping in the middle of nowhere? Who are you going to ask for a jump now? I'm asking my Cobra Jumpack XL.It's small enough to fit in my glove box, and comes with a fabric case to keep everything organized.Does it work? Yes! Simply connect the cables to your battery, connect the plug into the unit, wait for the yellow blinking light to turn green, and start your car. After sitting in the glove box for the last 6 months it still had full battery. It started my 3.6L V6 truck 3 times in the past day on one charge, and still had over 50% battery left on the unit (yes, I have now replaced the truck battery). It comes with 12VDC and 120VAC chargers. Case(when equipped) is approx. 5.5"x6.5"x2.5", brick itself is 6.5x3x1.1875. Cables are 8awg.So why only 4 stars if the thing works so good? Well the cable clamps are a bit dinky... More like alligator clips than cable clamps. Peak current is only 500amp. This might limit its ability to start a very dead battery. Compare to the NOCO GB40 jump starter, of slightly larger dimensions, that has a peak 1000amps.
