Step 2 Tag Along Trailer
I was excited to see that Step 2 made a trailer for their wagon (which we already owned). I ordered the Tag Along Trailer for my wagon hoping to be able to use it over the 4th of July weekend. When it was delivered my almost 3 year old and I excitedly waited for Daddy to get home and put it together. However, when my husband got home and started to assemble the trailer he noticed that the two "axle bushings" were not included in the bag of parts. It also appeared that our new trailer might have been a returned item since the bag of parts had a hole in it. Unfortunately, the axle bushings were necessary and the trailer could not be assembled without them. I will not forget the sad look on my little boy's face as he helped my husband drag the box and partially assembled trailer back into the garage.Since it was now July 2, Thursday before a 3-day weekend, and after business hours on the East Coast I had to wait until Friday morning, July 3 and a holiday for many companies, to call Step 2. I sat on hold with them for about 1/2 hour before I finally got a message saying the offices were closed but I could leave a VM that would be returned on July 6. Of course I was more than a little mad at Step 2 and madder that I couldn't get a hold of them to fix the problem in a timely manner. So, I called up trusty old Amazon and the super polite customer service agent said he would immediately ship another trailer out to me. Unfortunately there was no way it would get to us in time for the long weekend and he was more than apologetic.Once the replacement trailer came it worked great. My kids love it and we can put picnic baskets in it, toys or whatever.Long story short, awesome product, I would recommend it. Make sure you buy it from Amazon in case Step 2 is up to their old tricks and allow for extra time in case you need it by a certain date.

Know the limitations and then have fun
We were recently given a Step 2 Wagon and we love it because it allows us to cart two small children and all their toys, etc. but when I saw this trailer existed I knew we had to have it as a "Train" and also to carry more with us (Who doesn't want to carry more stuff because kids don't have enough, right?!?). There are two things you must know about this trailer: 1) It has a max weight of 40 pounds but is NOT meant to carry kids. There is nowhere for them to sit except in the bottom which isn't comfortable unlike the wagon that has two "Seats." 2) We were not able to successfully get the hitch in to the "Groove Circle" of the wagon, but it works find just being in the long part of it. Tough to describe if you can't see the hitch. Because there are no kids in the back, it wouldn't be the end of the world if it came unhitched but obviously not ideal. We have been using it every day for a week and have been fine.Neighbors love seeing the two kids and all our toys cruising around and our kids ages 2.5 and 1 love it. Great for summer and it can hold quite a lot of stuff. You could get a duffel bag or two if you wanted to and then it could hold even more. Easy to clean but if you install the trailer right-it won't come off easily for sure. Also note that cornering is not easy with this on because it does not rotate very much. You will have to maneauver in tight spaces. Good build quality and a good value for the money if you are looking for a way to extend your wagon. Recommended if you understand the limitations.

Must get for POM's or children close in age
So, we have 16 month triplets. We were given an older version of the Step 2 Choo-Choo wagon so there are 3 carts. We figured it would be nice to not have to carry a diaper bag, small, cooler, blanket, etc...We ordered this wagon and after the first use we love it. Makes walks, trips to the park so nice. Fits a good amount of items inside. My husband pulls the Choo Choo wagon with trailer (with the trailer attached you can feel the weight a little more). I could do it but it gives mom a nice break! Yes, it is green, but the other carts are purple, light green and orange. The colors match well. The kids love it and they are belted in which is nice. It is long and you will definitely get noticed by adults and kids! The trailer hitch is a little loose but we have not had any problems. Nothing has come undone. I recommend this POM's or parents with small children close in age.

Missing Parts - Updated!
I like that Step 2 offers a trailer to add space to our wagon. We added a second child to our family sooner than we had anticipated. The wagon has room for one child and our cooler. With both children being under 3, we wanted a place for both of them to sit and still have a place for our stuff.First I, like other buyers, was disappointed to find they only made the trailer in one color. We have a blue wagon but had to buy a green trailer. I'm not a big stickler on everything matching but, really, I would have preferred a blue trailer.Second, like many other reviewers, the box arrived with missing parts. I was missing the screw and lock nut to attach the hitch to the trailer, which is step 1 of the assembly instructions. Very disappointed. I am waiting for Step 2 to contact me about sending a replacementI will update this review when we get the replacement part and have used the trailer. I still have high hopes it will be nice.*UPDATE*I contacted Step 2 for a replacement part. It is currently under review and I should receive the part in 8-12 days. So I took my instructions to my local hardware store and bought the needed hardware for less than $4. The trailer is assembled and ready to go. I am still disappointed that I couldn't get a trailer to match my wagon. The trailer is nice but does hurt the turn radius of the wagon. Also I find it very difficult to get the trailer on and off. I have to sit on the ground and use my feet to brace the wagon in order to pull the hitch off the wagon. My husband can do it without much problem. I stand by my 3 stars.
