Couldn't be more impressed with this bait
I purchased the 1/2 oz 3'' version of the bait in 3 different colors. One of the lakes I regularly fish has some really difficult shorelines to cast and this bait caught my eye to try and tackle them. The lake shoreline drops really quickly, typically to 20-30' about 20-30' from shore. The issue with most baits is that they don't get deep enough, fast enough, to catch that shoreline drop. So unless fish are high, or you fish the bottom, getting fish in the middle is hard. But this bait....this bait is just awesome. It always lands belly down. So you can hop it along the ground. It's weighted enough where you can jig the lure up and down vertically if you wanted, and it's a weedless swimbait so you can just crank it in like a crankbait if you want. It's just so versatile in how you can fish it. I just love it.On my latest trip, nothing was working. Squarebills, lipless, jerkbaits, worms, swimbaits...you name it. Nothing was catching fish. I ended up putting this lure on, throwing it at shore and jigging it off the bottom along the dropoff and cranking it in. I started getting hit bit all sorts of fish and landed a massive pike (pictured). Never got caught up in any kind of log, it bounces off most nicely because of the weight that keeps the belly down and the hook on top with the weed guard. My ONLY problem with the bait is that it is a softer plastic. So after a pike hit, it was basically done with. And only two come in a pack. So it's a rather expensive soft bait to use. You'll get more use out of 1 bait if you're bass fishing. But it works just so well for the lake I was using it in and is so versatile in how you can fish it. Would feel like it would be a much better value if they included 3 or 4 in a pack vs. 2.But I couldn't recommend this bait any more. It's excellent and will be one of my go-to lures from now on.

This lure is very flexible and it has great coloring.
I like this lure because of it's flexibility with the hook on top. I have not been able to use it yet. However, I will use this coming week. I cannot imagine that it would not attract a fish or two. it has flash in the coloring which will do well when light strikes it. So, I do believe I cannot lose by buying it.

Fish loved it, especially when they came off mid crank
This is not a bad lure. I caught a bass on it today…..and mid crank as I was reeling it in, she spit that agent E out like no one’s business. Now I blamed myself….but I don’t typically lose a bass mid retrieval. It felt like a good hook set. But after close scrutiny of the Agent E after that loss, the weed guard had pushed over off the hook and I think that affected the hook set. Or maybe it’s designed for that. I don’t know. All I know is mid retrieval and off she came. Also, it’s kind of weed less. And it collects the weeds with fervor on each cast on the “weedless” thingy that apparently makes it weedless. It didn’t get stuck, it’s just a trash collector of the bottom of any water holding body. But 2nd cast, I did catch a bass. So it must be attractive to them. The action on this thing is great. If I was a fish I would try it and spit it out too if I had a chance. It’s also versatile. You can jig or swim it. I slowly reeled it along the bottom, stop, then bump and jig and repeat. I had several bites on it, but again, not able to set the hook well. That may have been my fault, but I use a ton of bottom dwelling chatter baits and squirted jigs and don’t miss the hook set or lose a fish. You decide. Maybe I just need to practice more.

Good quality
Great action but unfortunately the eyes came out of the bait after a few bites. But over than that it's decent

Ok - Megabass dark sleeper is better
Fish a lot of the dark sleeper by megabass and decided to give this a go. I compared vs the same size and similar megabass colors. Here's my take:Pros:Two for the price of oneMore common forage colorsCons (vs Megabass Dark Sleeper)BulkierWeedguard is terribleHook angle is not quite rightOverall a decent cost effective solution for this presentation. Some tips:Cut the weed guard and bent the hook upwards a bit. I also fish with a heavy fast rod vs a medium heavy or heavy moderate fast rod with the dark sleeper.

Nice profile lurw
Swims well, as deep as you want. Weedless for the most part.
