Cocoa Hazelnut Flavored Wafers
These wafers are extremely thin - very much like a church communion wafer. The taste of chocolate and hazelnut is very subtle but it's there. These are delicate and break easily but they arrived perfectly packaged and not one was broken. I plan on using them for desserts over the holidays to really dress up a bowl of ice cream or a cake or pie. The uses for these are varied and with the nice look they have, I know they'll make any dessert a show stopper.

Thin and Crispy Snack
These wafer amaranth are pretty tasty and fun to eat. They are super thin, crunchy and tasty. They are sugar free and even though it is sweetened with stevia, it doesn't taste like it has stevia. It comes with 12 packages and each package comes with a lot of little wafers, so if you don't use them all they probably will get stale. They taste good specially with nutella. They are not overly sweet and they are addicting after you start having some.I feel like there are too much in a package though and for over $50 for the box I find it to expensive.

Interestingly good and quite filling! Would make fancy party pastries.
The Kino Super Foods Amaranth Hazelnut Cocoa Wafers are so thin, but there are a bunch of them in each little package. They are ever so lightly flavored and sweetened, but taste wonderful dipped in the tiniest bit of honey. It really does not take much at all to sweeten them a bit, as they are a bit bland, but still very good. They are just like most other wafers that usually have a sweet filling of some kind, but these are the thinnest wafers I've ever seen. It's hard to finish a whole package. I'm not sure if it's because of the 20 minute time limit when your stomach tells your brain you're full and it has taken you that long to eat half the package, or if they are just that filling. It seems hard to believe when you eat the first one that you won't be done in 3 or 4 minutes. But, you won't, unless you eat several at a time. These are interestingly good little wafers. I love eating them with honey and find them very filling and hard to stop eating. I wish they were in resealable packages of some sort, but I just stick half in a zip top bag. I think they are a treat worth trying at least once, and I bet they would make some fancy little pastries for a party. I would definitely recommend them.

Addictive and Healthy
I found these surprisingly addictive for such a healthy treat. They are wafers, somewhere between an ice cream cone and a rice cake, with a delicious chocolate flavor. I am reminded of the chocolate wafer in those packs with white cream between layers of vanilla, strawberry, and chocolate wafers. These are just the wafer part with no filling and fun to eat for something that will not hurt a diet.

Packed like a tank, good light flavor.
I was surprised these weren't broken, given the condition of the Amazon box. But the box these came in was form fitting, padded with bubble wrap all around, and did a fantastic job of keeping these whole.Flavor is light, not like nutella or something similar, but I wasn't expecting a huge flavor from wafers. Usual wafer consistency. You get an awful lot, and you will probably have to figure out a way to seal these once open to keep them fresh (clothespin).

Bland.
I wasn't sure what I was getting when I picked this. You get 12 packs, and each pack has like 100 or so thin wafers in them. Sadly the packages are not resealable. The wafers are paper thin, and taste kind of like an ice cream cone but thinner, and blander. They have a snap when you bite them, and are crunchy. But they don't have too much taste, you get that wafer taste but that is it. Isn't sweet really. Maybe a touch of chocolate flavor from the cocoa but it is very bland.

A bit concerning warning for kids
I love hazelnut and chocolate. Nutella is something I grew up with. Do these paper-thin wafers taste the same way? Nope. They are more on the bland side, but certainly do have the consistency and taste of thin wafers. I add them to ice cream. Negates the fact that these are designed to be less sugar rich, doesn't it? :)I had a big concern when I saw the warning label on the front of the product packaging. It was in Spanish, but my limited Spanish knew that it was enough to look up what it meant: "Contiene edulcorantes no recomendable para niños". That translates to: "Contains sweeteners not recommended for children".What does that mean? Can potentially lead to diabetes.According to HealthyChildren, 'Recent research suggests possible links between nonnutritive sweeteners and changes in appetite and taste preferences in children. This, in turn, could affect weight and health. Other research is looking into whether these sweeteners cause changes in the gut microbiome―which is made up of "friendly" bacteria--and may affect blood sugar levels and lead to metabolic syndrome, insulin resistance, and diabetes.' Site continued, "It is currently unclear whether there are any long-term health effects from these products on children."EatRight wrote, "If your child is eating the occasional artificially sweetened food you have nothing to worry about."
