Didn’t work
Didn’t even light up, should of known really by the fact that the manufacturer could even spell “outdoor” correctly!

Ho ho ho!
Absolutely fantastic, I tried this out yesterday in preparation for Christmas which is upcoming and wow, this doesn't dissapoint. It can be big or small depending on how far away you place it but honestly cant get over how good it is especially for the money. Great value! Thanks! :)

Remote control didn't work
At £35.99 for a single purpose snowflake projector lamp, I was expecting somewhat better than the product received. The lamp itself switches on OK, and the snowflake and snow dot images projected are certainly pretty enough. There are two options for mounting (a screw-on wall/floor mount, and a garden stake for sticking in to softer surfaces such as soil and sand). This needed a bit of assembly before first use, as the section that attaches the lamp to whichever style of mount you want to use needs to be fixed in place with a pair of Philips head screws. The 7m cable length is decent, but not overly generous. This started to fall down a bit for me with the remote control. There are no button controls on the low voltage adaptor plug as is sometimes the case with Christmas lights, instead this is entirely controlled by remote. The remote I received with this doesn’t work. It came with a piece of plastic covering the battery to prevent it from discharging before first use, but just in case the issue was a flat battery (it takes CR2025 cell batteries), I tried replacing this. To no avail. The remote I got is apparently defective, so I can’t use any of the timer, speed, or flashing settings – I just get what seems to be a default swirling effect. This is nice, but I would have liked to have been able to try out the other options, and am sorry not to have access to the timer controls. In common with a lot of outdoor seasonal lights, this has a built-up adaptor plug that means you can’t close a shielded outdoor socket over the plug. There are safe ways round this, including the use of an extension cable and dry box; and running the projector from an indoor power point.Overall, a pretty effect but a bit disappointing at the price point.

A Special Snowflake... Projector
The media could not be loaded. The Greenclick Snowflake projector is the latest of many festive or seasonal illuminated projectors, lamps etc, and most share similar failings - the prime one being that they are simply poorly made of shoddy materials. Not so with the Greenclick projector; the actual projector lamp housing is the most solid I've encountered, and the mechanism is stable and noiseless - no asthmatic wheezing as a sub-par motor struggles to spin the patterns; this is efficient and smooth in it's workings. It offers a choice of mounting fixtures - a spike for planting in grass or soil, and a flat base with a ratcheted joint to allow the lamp to be set at the desired angle. This flat mount can be screwed to a surface either horizontally or vertically. Rated at IP65 is is suitable for outdoor use. It has an exceptionally long albeit thin power lead culminating in an IP44 plug, so while the plug requires a degree of protecting one has considerable latitude in placing the projector itself. The Remote Control handset is fairly basic and controls brightness, speed of motion and flashing - which frankly is just annoying and if you are susceptible to strobes and flashing lights you may want to give that function a miss. It does feature a useful 2, 4 or 6 hour timer function. The only real issue I find with it is that as there is no facility to change focus one needs to experiment to find a location that will focus the snowflakes sharply, because it tends to be sharper either very close up or over a couple of metres away.

Excellent projector
The media could not be loaded. Warning - flashing lights in video. This is an impressive little snowflake projector that can be used indoors as well as outdoors. The projector and parts are good quality and sturdy. There’s a stand provided for indoor use in addition to the stake for outdoor use, both are hinged so you can find the best angle. The projector is IP65 waterproof, but the adapter is IP44 so will need sheltering if you’re not using a weatherproof box. There’s a remote control that allows you to set timers. You can also set the projection to still or vary the movement speed and have the lights flashing (you can alter the time between flashes too). This projector does have an excellent range - bear in mind I filmed the video in a small room so it limits the projection. Outdoors you can experiment with distance and angle to get full coverage. This covers a larger area than the outdoor projector we already have, and that still covered the front of our bungalow when put in the right spot. This is also much brighter which shows how they’ve improved in the last 2 years. The price is currently just under £30 which I think is a reasonable price if it stays there.

Clear projection and good coverage
The media could not be loaded. Christmas Projector Lights GreenClickIt has good coverage, and the projected snowflakes are clear and bright, especially if it is placed against a dark place and a clear surface. It is straightforward to use as it comes with a mounting plate, ground stake, screws, a very long cable with a power adapter, and remote control. Tho the lights and accessories feel a bit plasticky and flimsy, it does its job as how I expected.Using the remote, you can make the snowflakes flash, adjust the movement of the snowflakes, and use the timer function. It projects snowflakes that move around constantly. My toddler loves it, whether it is inside the house or not. Also, you need to strategically place it where you can appreciate and highlight the snowflakes' details, which can be 5 to 7 meters away from the wall.It could have been better if the socket is designed that it can fit in an outdoor socket. It may be a concern for some as its socket won't fit. Good thing that it is not a biggie for us as we have an outdoor socket that is completely secured from rain.
