Incredibly healthy hair
I am loving this pine tar shampoo and conditioner. One huge surprise is how I’m not seeing any hair in my comb in the mornings. None. Seriously. I have a thick head of hair, and I’ve always had strands of hair in my comb each morning or anytime I use it. If I had to guess, there would be at least 20 strands each time I’d wet and comb my hair each day. Even more whenever I grow my hair out to a longer length. I immediately noticed no hair the first morning after shampooing and conditioning my hair. There is literally not one strand of hair. My wife didn’t believe me till I showed her. So, my hair must have always been brittle and breaking anytime I styled it, and it is now the healthiest it’s ever been.

Smells Amazing, but My Teen’s Hair is Now Teflon
I bought this for my 16-year-old son, thinking it would be a nice upgrade from whatever mystery 3-in-1 bottle he had been abusing. And at first, it was great—his hair smelled like a lumberjack fresh out of an orange grove, and for once, the bathroom didn’t reek of teenage boy.BUT… after a few weeks, his hair developed a strange, waxy resistance to gravity itself. Water just rolls off it now, like he’s been laminated. I’m starting to suspect that if I threw him in a pool, his head would stay perfectly dry.Would I buy it again? Probably—the smell is fantastic, and his hair looks clean enough. But at this point, I might need a power washer to fully de-gunk his scalp. Use a clarifying shampoo unless you want your teen to develop a protective hair shell.
