Fits Kawasaki FH721V like an OEM parts.
I bought this for a kawasaki fh721v 25hp, on the back of a 60" Hustler Z, and it was as if it were OEM. Good price, fast shipping, works perfectly. I couldn't ask for anything else.8-6-21 Update: It failed today, after less than 5 hours of use. I'm going to return it and try again. It's frustrating, in that removing it/reinstalling it is not a five minute job.9-2-21 update. My rough running issues turned out to be the carburetor, the coil gaps, and the plugs, so the starter is used far less. For those of you who have read to this point, that haven’t yet ordered a new carburetor, do yourself a favor and buy any one that has consistently good ratings! I went from contemplating buying a new machine to ordering new blades, so it’d feel like new. It’s a Hustler Super Z 60” deck, Kawasaki 25hp V-twin, and the best overall build quality of any lawn machine I’ve ever seen. Since working the kinks out, I recall why I spent $11,500 on that beast. Every piece of steel is at least twice as thick as it “needs” to be. Just spend the extra money upfront for better power.

Exact replace. Mower was back in operation in less than an hour after receiving the part. Starter performed as expected.

One week old and aprroximately 30-40 starts.
Seems to be a nice unit. Replaced my original OEM unit on my 2003 Everride Warrior with 720 hrs, 21 year old mower. Original had been making noise for years so I decided to replace it even though it was still starting the engine. Top bendix gear assembly was worn out so I replaced the entire starter for $45. New unit looks almost identical to the original and actually weighs 6.5 oz more than original OEM, I weighed them both. Took me about 30 minutes to replace on an FH721V Kawasaki, didn't even have to take top cover off, piece of cake! We'll see if I get 20 years out of this one like I did the original. LOL.

Just what I needed.
Got my lawnmower started after installing new starter. Great price.

Very strong starter
Have been bought these many times before and probably will continue to do so.

Fits exmark zero turn
Works great. I could not find a video on this specific mower/starter repair. But the secret is to remove the gas tank on the starter side. It's a 30 minute repair once you know that part.

Perfect fit, imperfect performance.
The starter fit exactly and was simple to install. I should have bench tested it first because it did not engage. After about an hour of troubleshooting everything else on my zero-turn mower, I finally removed the starter and bench tested it. Though the starter would spin, the gear would not extend to the flywheel. Defective, right out of the box -brand new. Caveat emptor.

Worked on my Kawasaki FH721V, although it is larger than OEM
Item was much larger than the OEM starter on my 2004 Hustler Super Z with a Kawasaki FH721V, but it did fit- the bolt holes lined up and it has a properly toothed gear. Seems to be more powerful than my stock starter, but considering it was getting weak it's hard to judge fairly. Time will tell if saving some money pays off with a durable starter.
