Ever give a cat a pill?
Our cat was diagnosed with epilepsy in the last year. If you've ever tried to give a cat a pill, you probably understand what we had to go through. I was so nervous about giving her a pill, that originally I opted for the liquid medicine. That was a total mess. When I found these pill dispensers, it changed everything. I am now easily able to give my cat a pill single-handedly. She doesn't like it, but we really don't have a choice. I highly recommend these pill dispensers if you have to give a pill to a cat.

Only small pills and even smaller capsules
The split tip mechanism (probably an afterthought) will not work for #3 and larger gelatin capsules typical for even small dogs. The capsules, properly placed in the split tip nipple, just pop out due to a combination of low friction and geometry. Get one from your vet that fits the pill. I'm returning. Thank you Amazon.

Works great with small dog
These work great for getting pills into my pill-resistant, semi-toothless five pound shitzu chihuahua mix dog, and they are easy to wash. Small pills go right in, and i divide big pills into smaller pieces. Before I had these, I spent a long frustrating time trying to crush and hide pills in various types of food. These are great.

It’s ok
Works ok but doesn’t shoot very well. Definitely takes a few tries to get it in good. Haven’t had this problem with others.

Works very well for small pets
Pill forceps might be better than these, but for small pets and small medications, these work very well. They have small tips, so be careful. You could either not release the pill, or worse yet, launch it into your pet. Also, these to pull apart easily, probably to make it easier to wash.

These work ! Give em a try
My cat is the most stubborn when it comes to giving her pills. I always feel bad because it’s always a lengthy process and she fights me on it when I give them to her by hand. I decided to give this device a try after reading some articles online and it definitely helped ! All I do is open her month and drop it in ! Perfect tool for a squirmy cat.

Not worth it
Purchased this for my cat who began taking pills. This thing is the worst. Don’t waste your time even buying.
