Great Tent
This tent was the first tent owned. Did some research on tents and this tent was a lot for the price for a 20x40 tent. However, with tents the weather and environment work against them. You would have to pay thousands of dollars more to get a tent that will stand up like a house. Bought this tent and due to different things, it sat in storage close to two years. Finally got it put up at the beginning of summer by some tent workers and could not be more pleased with the tent. They can be used for shade, storage, athletic tent, workshop, to name a few. The material was sturdy, and the assemblers reinforced the frame with screws where they saw fit. The tent probably would have blown over a few days later if not for that. Never knew the area had this much wind until the tent went up. The top did start leaking after a month are so as the water-resistant coating is eventually burned off by the sun. But often advertisements say 'water resistant' so leaks were to be expected. Got a heavy-duty tarp cover for the top and that seemed to solve that problem so far. The tent people said this was a good tent. It has held up to a lot of wind. You have to have a grommet tool if you have a tent. Finally, after a multitude of storms over two months or so a big one hit that ripped off the roof. Thanks to the way the people put it up the frame held. Was able to reattach the top and it looks like a tent again. But the frames and siding had to be sturdy in the first place in order to have something to repair. Very pleased with this tent and really believe the design and materials are of a good quality especially for the price.

Mild wind shredded fabric. Frame rusty as new.
Good frame. Flimsy fabric. Tore itself to shreds in mild winds. Frame strong but sloppy paint Meade it covered in rust right out of the box. I repainted it with white rustolium paint. Fabric shredded the first week. I used white duct tape and it lasted a few months. Is shredded again. I ordered more white duct tape and an outdoor grommet kit.Packed sloppy, metal pipes dumped in box to chip paint off each other. Box arrived as if it had fallen out of a truck at high speed in the rain. Cardboard had gaping holes, worried some of the pipes might have fallen out. Somehow they hadn’t.As fabric decomposes, it rains down white powder on my car which adhered to the paint.

missing a piece
Product was re-packaged when it arrived. We should have checked it right away because it happened to be missing a vital piece. The instructions were useless but there was an online video that was helpful. It isn't difficult to assemble. Felt it was a good value for the money (if it comes with all the parts!).

Good product
For all purposes, this product came exactly as described. Very easy to put together and erect. The only downfall is that there are no flaps to put sandbags or any type of tie-downs on the side to keep the wind from picking it up. The anchors that were supplied did a very good job holding the canopy down. I did need to put 80 lb bags on each leg to keep on the ground. If using to put up and take down it is a good choice. Leaving up for winter, find one with flaps on the sides.

Very cheap tarp, won't last long.
This was purchased to shelter my outdoor equipment while I build a barn, I hope I can building it fast because I don't think it will last very long. I gave it 2 stars because the poles are OK despite being chipped and scratched, the zipper is cheap and reminds me of zippers on cheap garment bags. The material is incredibly cheap and one panel came with a tear in it. If this has any use, it would be for an emergency and there is no alternative. Taking it down and shipping it back will be too much of a pain.I read the reviews and there were many "great" reviews but I question them because no rational person would say this is a great product at $283. I would say its kind of OK at $83.

Good Tent
We used this to camp in at burning man. Easy to setup. We parked our van under it and slept inside that. Worked well for novice camping. It was hot though, and basically cooked us when the sun came up. I think next time we will use shade cloth over the tent as the tarp did not breathe well. But we did open up the sides, rolling them up, to allow for airflow. Downside of that is dust got inside our camp area. However, it did exactly what we needed it to do, provided privacy mostly. We plan to set it up as extra storage now.

Exactly what I wanted. Buy it!!
Easy to set up to start. The poles are well built, but the drill holes leave some metal barbs that need bent or filed. The tarp is killer quality and easy to install. I weighed it off with 5gal buckets filled with concrete. Fyi one 80lbs bag of concrete is perfect for one 5gal bucket. Strong winds one week later and she stood strong. This is a great product for the price.
