Absolutely Awesome!
Best investment for an emergency to support your cars and/or trucks. A necessity in your set of car tools. I have own this product, NOCO Boost X GBX75 2500A, for over two and a half years. The NOCO Boost X is the best way for jump starting vehicles. It's flawless and easy to use. Forget the jumper cables. This unit is superior and super easy to use. It will hold a charge for years. There's no need to constantly charge it unless you're using it all the time. I own muscle cars and family vehicles, and the NORCO jump starter has performed perfectly when my car batteries have finally worn out. Again, it's safe to use, easy to connect to your car, easy to operate, and it works every time I've used it. It works in hot (110 ° F) or freezing (23 ° F) temperatures, too. I live in those conditions, and I've used it near those temperatures. Flawless operation. I bought the case for the unit, which makes it easy to store. The NOCO Boost X is a small (compact) unit which has a multi-function light. Also, it has a USB port to charge accessories like a cell phone. I bought this model to support a full sized diesel pickup, which requires more amps. Highly recommended and necessary for emergency equipment.

Great little jump starter now that I found a recharging solution.
This is an excellent little jump starter. It really works well, is light weight and small and has plenty of power to quickly jump start any car, no matter how dead. The only thing it didn't like was that if I leave it unplugged, the battery drains and I found it half charged every time I needed it. I only use it for emergencies and I need it ready to use. I know from prior experience that if I leave it plugged in all the time, its battery will degrade in a year or two. I found a great solution, a product on Amazon called Charge-O-Matic. It is a long term timer that I plug the NOCO boost into. I set it to come on once every 60 days for 12 hours. Now the jump starters is always fully charged and ready to go and should last for years with its lithium battery.

Replaced old Noco Boost with this one!
My car wouldn't start. I tried using my old Noco Boost and it wouldn't start on a full charge. I whipped this new one out, connected it, turned it on and started my 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport immediately! This one is a keeper!*******Update: I have had to use this charger at least 8 times since purchasing and it's definitely got me out of a rough time with my Hyundai Santa Fe Sport issue with the negative battery cable preventing the vehicle to start. One thing I might add is I enjoy having the USB-C port for charging. This makes it much easier to charge fast at home or having it connected to my cigarette lighter charger. Another difference between this model and the older model is the red and black cables Criss-Cross when charging my battery. It's much more awkward to have to jump start my vehicle this way but it's still functional. You are not able to test your battery or determine if the issue is with your starter or alternator with this device. I have been asked a question and I hope this clarifies that and also perhaps some additional features and upgrades that nocoboost can add.I would say I have been able to jump start my vehicle at least three times before needing charging.I do recommend recharging after use and not depend on being able to jump start three times before recharging.

Complete waste of $300. Buyer beware.
Regrettably, despite reading the multitude of reviews and warnings, I elected to purchase this unit. It arrived and I promptly plugged it in to begin charging. It never, not for a second took a charge. After leaving it plugged in overnight, I acquiesced and figured I needed to buy the “boost” battery cable they STRONGLY recommended. This too, was a joke. Nothing. Nada. The unit would only continue to flash red indicating there was a “charging error”. Okay, so I then take the unit to my other SUV and follow other buyer’s recommendations that I charge the unit that way. I had hope… although the red “failure” light was still on.Did it charge via the cigarette lighter in my SUV? Nope, of course not. LOL Like hundreds of others on here, I fell for this company’s claims that the unit would work as expected. Kudos to their design team as they packaged it to appear as though it’s a state-of-the art device equipped to save you from being stranded. Unfortunately, they must have employed 2nd graders to engineer the components and 1st graders to test for quality control. I’ve seen Fisher-Price toys hold a charge better than this thing did. Absolutely abysmal. How this company can market such a colossal piece of crap to the world and fail to rectify its problematic components year over year is astonishing to me. Nevertheless, I fell for it. So, if you’re trying to make a good decision here- I wouldn’t recommend this product at all. Not even a little bit. Had I listened to other’s who’ve sustained the same fate, I would have my $300 back, and purchased a unit that does what it claims. This charger is not a charger. It’s a well-crafted casing with useless cables that the manufacturer cooked up to sell to unsuspecting buyers. Well- played NOCO, well-played indeed. I will never purchase anything this company is associated with again.

Very handy over 3 years of use!
Owned this model for a couple of years and always comes in handy, always works. So much easier than jumper cables or larger jump boxes that wear out. I just keep it in the back of my SUV, check it every now and then to make sure it's fully charged. Love the extra connections and the light has come in handy many times, mainly during power outages. Won't start smaller batteries like lawnmower batteries, because of the safety circuitry, but I never read the instructions much. I'm told that you can override the safety to do this, but read the instructions. Recommend.
