Replacement Remote Control for Harman KARDON HK3480, HG5H02, RH05H05, HK3485

I lost the original remote, so having this replacement unit was critically important. It seems well made and sends a stronger signal to the receiver than the original one. If you are considering buying one, be aware that it does not register new pre-sets. It only accesses the ones you already have. This company uses a single remote for many audio and video devices. That's why it looks like a TV remote and has some buttons labeled for video use. Only the buttons intended for a given device actually work,.

Red power button turns the Harman Kardon on but does not turn it off. One still has to use the manual power to turn it off.

Works on my hk3400 - which, while it may be several years old, still does everything well. Particularly when one has the remote!

This remote saved my Harmon Kardon stereo receiver. My original remote stopped working after 14 years of use. This replacement remote is better and more powerful than the original remote. All of the functions I use work flawlessly. Volume, mute, power and input selections worked right out of the box. Glad I found this remote.
