Not up to the Job
Battery life is not as good as expected

Well worth it.
Does the job well. What I have noticed is that the battery indicator drops to 2 bars (from 4) fairly quickly, but then stays there for ages. I'm not sure precisely how long they are lasting, but I can normally get two trips done before recharging. I have been caught out once, but then I always carry a pair of standard lithium AA batteries for just such an eventuality. I've only had this for three months, but already I would have spent more on batteries than this rechargeable pack cost me.

They should come with unit
Makes more sense than using AAs, however they do take a long time to recharge.

Expensive but required for the guarantee.
An expensive way to use rechargeable batteries in my Garmin GPSMap64s but required in order to maintain the guarantee. Works fine but loses on price.

Much less faffing that normal batteries.
I use this in my Garmin GPSMAP 64S. I was using normal batteries but they would run out half way through a trip which was a pain in the backside. So I started replacing the batteries every time I went out which was stupid. Now I use this rechargeable battery pack I just need to charge it overnight before I leave. It's far more efficient with no wastage. I'm very happy with my purchase.
