Love how slim it is, gentle close lid and looks really nice. My regular bin bags fit just perfect so you can find these cheap. It is very lightweight though even when almost full so it constantly moves around and I wish there was some non slip on the bottom to it keep it in one place.

Lightweight with soft mechanism and easy to clean.

Large capacity, but fits nicely under the counter with room for other things.Neat looking. Pedal is easy to use gently (under counter doesn’t have space for full rise of lid) and slow close works well.

I read the reviews first (as I do) before I bought this make. People's photos also helped to decide. I went for white. Getting the pack of bags free was a great help. I was always lifting my old bin lid up by hand without using the foot pedal but with this one I stopped. Just foot on pedal, lid up, rubbish in, walk away. The lid falls down slowly. It's soundless, not like my last bin. The silver trim around the bin holds the bags steady. One happy customer...

Like that it hides the garbage bag (I just buy regular bags that fit, you don’t need to get specific simplehuman bags). Hate that things are being made so cheaply these days, this is my 3rd bin in 2 years (different brands). This one, for a plastic bin seems to be the winner. The design is sleek for small apartments but has good depth, and it’s unassumingly sturdy. Husband wishes it had some more weight to it.
