How many carbs in quest bars?

It depends on if you mean total carbs or net carbs (carbs-non Impact carbs). They vary from bar to bar. The oatmeal ones have 22 carbs but if you take out the fiber and erythitrol it's only 5 impact carbs.

What are the white elongated pieces in the oatmeal chocolate chip protein bar, and why is it harder and less tasty than formerly bought?

I noticed that in my latest shipment too, and just chalked it up to, well, chalk. Or protein bits.

Another lower carb snack option

These feel like the most substantial chew in a low carb bar that I've tried. Most of them feel like that air whipped nougat consistency but not these. Decent taste without any weird fake sweetener twang. Good desert or makeshift meal replacement. Good enough I subscribed to them.

Like a mild Oatmeal Cookie.

These can be best describe as Oatmeal Cookies Lite, the typical very soft/chewy Quest bar with a good chocolate flavor and mild Oatmeal flavor.Overall one of my favorite standard Quest bar flavors and doubles as a 'healthy' option vs grabbing a regular oatmeal cookie.

NOT A NATURAL TASTING BAR, OR VERY FLAVORFUL

We saw good reviews on this bar, so we were excited to try it. It greatly disappointed.It had a very synthetic, unnatural taste. Nothing at all like real oatmeal cookie flavor. So if you are seeking authentic taste, you won't get it on the bars that we had. I saw one person state his were bad too, because they were old. These said that they were good until 06/20/26, so that wasn't the problem in this case.
