Fisher-Price Nickelodeon Dora The Explorer, Fairy Wishes Dora

Okay, opened today after my 4 year old got a glimpse of the doll hiding in our closet. It was supposed to be for her birthday but oh no now I have to be on amazon all night looking for another gift!I don't know about features or durability but I LOVE HER SMILE! I bought my daughter the Amazing Amanda doll for Christmas and they could have learned a lot from DORA! And Dora cost me $60.00 less! Everytime I see this doll smile it just makes me smile too. My daughter just keeps making more and more WISHES!! I swear that pony is going to cost me a pretty penny some day. :)I thought her dress was pretty cheap though, they could have used a nicer material. Her face is the soft rubber just like the Amanda doll but Dora feels so much more real. I wish she stood on her own like the rest of the Dora's have. She doesn't sit well either. So cute!

I bought this for my 6year old and my 4 year old. They really like it you can use the wand to touch the star on her chest and she talks. I gave it a 4 because she cant sit or stand too well so my daughters sit her on the couch which works fine. Her arms move and she closes her eyes when she grants a wish which my daughters love. Good Buy

We got this gift for a [...]. She loved it and takes her around when she visits her friends!! Lot of features, it's fun to play with, and the size is perfect as well as the price. Great deal!!

Luckily I found this at Christmas time for a low price so i didn't waste too much money. Within a few days the paint for the lips and teeth came off the face. Because the nature of short hair it now sticks up everywhere like bed head. (Not the biggest concern to me, she is a doll.)After a few months of forgetting the doll's existance she became intereting agian only to be dissapointed. The toy did not work even after changing the batteries. If the paint didn't come off so easily or the hair get matted the doll would look unused. This is not a durable toy at all. It broke with in six months or less with little playtime.

My daughter recieved this doll for a christmas gift. She seemed to like it but I couldn't stand being in the same room as it. Its eyes and especially its smile were really creepy. I was afraid it would start a murderous rampage when we weren't looking. My daughter loves Dora so I thought this would be a good toy for her but I was wrong. Shortly after Christmas this toy was donated to charity. She has another Dora doll with a fixed face that doesn't talk and its much less unsettling.

Dora is heavy... my 3 year old niece had trouble picking her up and if she dropped it on her toe it would probably hurt. But Dora's sounds and songs are sweet and entertaining.

This doll not only says so many things but the facial features are the most lifelike of any dora doll ive seen. the eyes open and close in a lifelike way and the mouth moves when she talks. and when the eyes and mouth move the face actually moves with it making the expressions look real! very sturdy heavy doll. very pleased with this purchase.

Amazon was making an offer no sane consumer let alone grandfather could refuse, so I ordered Dora for my two-year-old granddaughter. The doll is at least twice as large as I'd imagined it; indeed, she's already become my granddaughter's favorite twin sister, constantly chirping away while moving her lips and opening and closing her eyes. And she hasn't even begun to show off her bilingualism yet.
