Great card. Relatively quiet stock
Great card. Relatively quiet stock. You can leave default settings and just enjoy it. Unigene heaven score stock was 2745, with a min of 30, avg of 109, and a max of 225 fps at 1080p, everything completely maxed out.If you want to play around with overclocking it, grab the free MSI Afterburner 4.3 software (currently in beta at the time of this writing) and you can go in and set custom fan curve profiles based on the card temp, it's really nice. I set mine between 80-100% fan speed from 70 degrees and up to keep it under 83 and just see what it could do. Haven't touched voltages, power, or memory settings at all. Was able to get +235Mhz on the core with the increased fan speed and Heaven 4.0 scores went up to: 30.3 min, 116 avg, 242.3 max. This was just for fun, you really don't need to OC and I really like the quite operation at stock so I put it back for now. But it's good to know you can squeeze some more performance out of it if you need to.I was able to get this card for just over MSRP, which is crazy right now because they're so overpriced. I was on the fence between the 1070 and the 1080. Wasn't sure if it was worth the extra money for the 1080. Now I'm glad I pulled the trigger. No regrets. Get this card!!

Great GPU, no problems, stays cool, does it's job.
its a 1080, what more need I say? If your buying a 1080 you know why. BTW for more detail I put this in a smallish case pc, not small-form pc but a smaller PC from like 7 years ago, it BARELY fits in the case but still has no overheating issues. I know alot of people like to get those big fat dual fans that other sellers add on, but this fan blows OUTWARD rather than blowing air onto the thing, it works just as well if not a little better than blowing air onto it. I always buy GPUs with outward blowing fans. Just keep in mind this card is MASSIVE, highly recommend you have your screws to secure it already, it doesn't come with any and setting it in without any may be fine, but I don't recommend it.

Great card to play at 2560x1440p
Great graphics card. I opted for a blower style card to keep temps down in my Silverstone RVZ03 so it does get hot and won't turbo as hard as opposed to a card with an open style cooler, but usually see it hitting anywhere from 1797-1898 mhz on the core via gpu boost. Never see the core go higher than 82c. I do have a custom fan curve so it can turbo higher at the expense of volume but I have some monitors to drown out any sound emmited from the card. I use this card to drive a 1440p monitor @ 75 hz and can usually max out most games at this framerate but usually see it dish out 60 fps more often than not at max settings for AAA titles. Great card and I do recommend.

Cheap GTX 1080
Gonna start off by saying this is a fairly cheap blower type 1080. It could definitely be more quiet and could use better cooling. It's still great for itx cases with very restricted airflow, especially on a budget.

Awesome Graphics Card!!!
Purchased this for my boyfriend for Christmas. He's a custom PC-builder, while I am not. SO, after doing my research, I decided on this particular graphics card to get him. The item got here earlier than expected, all in one piece, all full functional. My boyfriend absolutely /loves/ it, and it really makes a huge difference when he's playing games on Steam!! Apparently it was extremely easy to install too- it only took him maybe 10, 15 minutes. Definitely worth the cash if you're looking for a decent GTX 1080!

Great card!
This card is badass. It works like a charm, and runs every game I have at beyond 60 FPS. I bought this card to replace my GTX 780, which died unexpectedly on me. That card had really good performance-but THIS card blows it out of the water, and with less power consumption and less noise, too. I even like the over-clocking software that came with this card, although I don't really need it. Simply put-I believe this card is about the best you can buy nowadays, and I heartily recommend it!

My computer runs fine with my old graphics card so I am left ...
I received my card on friday and after installing it I have found that the card is defective. I can't play any game for more than a few minutes without the computer completely freezing up and only a hard reset will bring it back online. I have tested my psu and my processor to be sure and even installed my old graphics card with the same processor to make sure that wasn't it. My computer runs fine with my old graphics card so I am left to conclude this one is faulty.

Too hot and fan is loud under 100% load
Compared with my other GPUs that have the dual or triple open fans, this model runs very hot. Its performance is typically thermally limited. Although the blower removes air from the computer case, the airflow and cooling fins are insufficient. Basically the fan needs to run at 100% and even then it can be thermally limited. The fan is also rather loud.Because of the high temperature, I don't expect it to last long and so will be returning it.
