Poise Hot Flash Comfort Roll-On Cooling Gel, 1.2 OZ (Pack of 4)

I am not menopausal, i'm 34! However, I have some significant health problems and take over 14 prescription medications each day. Medication side effects suck! At least 4 of my meds all warn about being easily overheated and to avoid the sun. I'm suppose to remain indoors and avoid exertion, which because of other side effects the exertion is unavoidable. So, before I go out on hot days I roll this starting behind my ears, right below my hair line on my neck ending behind my other ear. Then i go across the underside of my wrists I and along my sternum. It takes about 1-2 min for the cooling sensation to kick in on dry skin (if you are already sweating it can take 3-4 min) and it's a cold almost tingling sensation (closest sensation I can compare it to is Biofreeze). It keeps me from getting too hot, which helps my face not get so red and sweaty and therefore I'm LOTS more comfortable and my makeup doesn't melt off. The scent doesn't bother me, in fact it's more mellow than many scented antiperspirant/deodorants. To me it smells a lot like Air fresheners labeled as "linen" or "clean linen". I can carry it in my purse and because of the twist lock roller applicator it does not leak all over my purse. The poise wipes are ok, but this works much better for me.

I bought these because I have so much problems with being so hot in summer weather. I first one I opened was broke on the seam. Hopefully the rest of them don't do that. But it's a great product.

I am post menopausal at 48 yrs old. But lucky me, I am still getting the hot flashes. And oh my gosh, I love this product. I had bought one of these cooling gels in the stores and used it all up, and luckily I found them for sale here. I scooped up the pack of 4 as quick as I could. Now I have one in my purse, one by the bed, one in the bathroom, and one in the living room. Hot flashes suck, there is nothing nice or pleasant about them. And since I live in NH my husband refuses to leave the bedroom window open when it is 20 degrees out. Just rolling this product on the back of my neck and on my forehead helps so much. It gives you that relief as your body seems to heat up to 200 degrees in seconds. The product lasts quite a while too, but getting a package of four was just a bonus for me, now I am never without my little cooling gel friend in my time of need.

Item does not work and get cold at all. Also no expiration date to be found on product at all. Have used in the past a few years back when bought in store somewhere and know how product should work but none of the ones I received did as they were supposed to.

It worked but I had to cut the tube to get the out and run in my skin. Because it would not come out of the rollerball.

I've been using this roll-on gel for a long time. It is very effective and when I roll the gel on the inside of my wrists I get relief in seconds. The hot flashes go away. The product is not messy and can be carried with you. However, when I ran out and couldn't find any I called the company only to find out they don't make it any longer. I went to Amazon and found it. Happy, happy!
