It’s plastic, so don’t expect a solid no movement tray. Good for lunch, works with my tablet to watch tv during lunch, and I was able to use it to take notes for work. I haven’t tried it, but I don’t think a laptop bigger than 14 inches will work well. If you’re not expecting a rock solid no movement tray, you can’t go wrong for $14.
