Cost effective and good quality ammo case
Surprisingly durable - Holds a large box of 2 3/4" shells neatly - will consider this for further ammo storage

Sturdy enough for my 180 pound self to use as a Step lol
These boxes are wicked awesome I’ve got like 15 of these smaller ones and they for sure hold more than what there rated for as far as pounds go they stack like you would want them to stack nice and tight together and don’t wobble I can see where someone may order one and it come broke but it had to have been ran over by a forklift they seal good and latch good when closed very sturdy I store ammo in them and haven’t had a problem with moisture I will also say the same thing about the bigger ones and doesn’t matter what color either these are all great I’ve got another 15 or 20 of the big ones too and plain on getting more all I use these for are ammo and I just like any other gun but don’t want my bullets to ever see a drip of water and this box is the way to go

Good ammo box
I have seen in some reviews that this case does not seal well. That is not my experience. I have used this box for ammunition storage for the last eight months with a rechargeable dehumidifier. The dehumidifier has never needed to be recharged. The box is fairly sturdy, but being plastic it will never be as strong as a metal box. Also, because it is plastic, it cannot be locked and secured like a metal ammo box. That being said, the box has held up well, the clamps and seal work perfectly, and I’ve had no issues. I will be buying a second one.

A useful and well built product
While these were a little smaller than I expected, I have been very happy with them so far. And at around $12, I think it’s a much better value than the 50 cal Ammo cans I normally purchase for around $10.These are quality, tough cases that could definitely stand up to some abuse. I don’t anticipate this breaking unless I drive over it with my truck...And it might not break even then. There is a padlock hole on each front corner, making it easy to lock down. They also stack incredibly well, though I store them laid across the top of “regular” ammo cans I have lining a shelf on my gun bench, as there is just enough room for this. What you can fit into these is really going to be dependent on your needs, and how creative you want to get with it...For example, 50 round boxes of 9MM come in all different size boxes. By trying some different arrangements and playing a bit of “Tetris”, I was able to fit the following:- 19 thirty round PMAGs with ranger plates- 34 fifty round boxes of 9MM- 58 twenty round boxes of .223/5.56The 4th crate I just use for misc gear, like extra magazines, holsters etc. I almost consider it my “junk drawer” as it’s stuff I need and sometimes use, but not often.Overall, I would definitely recommend these. They’re high quality and should last for years and years.*******************************I rely heavily on reviews when I make purchases so I put some time into reviewing everything I buy on Amazon for personal or business use so I can help other people considering that item. Our long term food storage outer containers of choice, plus a lot more
We use these for long term food storage (think of these same manageable mini-crates for pasta, beans, rice, canned seafood and the like neatly labeled and stacked on daily-use pantry shelves) since they're basically rodent-proof, moisture-proof, and airtight (overnight bathtub tests show most are almost watertight, others are completely sealed at least in the short term when latched). These smaller ammo crates are also dandy on camping trips for keeping cheese, butter, and other normally refrigerated foodstuffs that have been sealed in small Mason jars cold when placed in a running creek even in very hot weather (just place the jars inside the ammo crate, twist-tie the two crate ends shut, attach a leash of any kind to the crate handle and a tree just in case, then submerge the crate with a big rock on top to refrigerate the jarred food inside). My latest order was for ten more of these, since we also store underwear, socks, gloves, hats, shorts, and other small essential attire plus related homestead accessories in them to keep dust, spiders and any bugs away during off-season storage. All told it's probable that we've bought more than 100 MTM ammo crates in various sizes over the years, and I personally like these smaller ones best since they're TOUGH yet lightweight and have 1,000 uses. The larger ones currently store power tools, running and hiking boots, field and livestock Rx kits of all kinds, machine sewing basics (including all colors of sewing thread, buttons, and quarters of cloth for quilting and mending), and odd hardware (hinges, brackets, screws, those fence pin thingies that I can never remember the name of but always need, packets of eye hooks, washers, garden hose mending parts, etc).My only (very vague) concern related to my excessive, repeated ammo crate purchases over these years might be that DHS may eventually somehow think we're preparing to go to war! Well, um, no, we just don't like dust or spiders or prematurely spoiled food... also, these MTM ammo crates have become somewhat of a matching/common theme fashion statement in our pantry, living room, bathrooms, garage and even barn now.In summary: BRAVO for these affordable ammo crates being available here on Amazon, and a triple thank you to the manufacturer MTM for making them in the first place for sale at an affordable price, FIVE STARS all around!

Durable storage box
Good amount of storage. Well built. I tested the waterproof at a depth of 5 ft in a swimming pool, and it kept the inside dry. Great for storing your important documents.

Great containers
Easy to stack and carry. Built in handles on each side. Depending on packaging, can hold 1k+ of 9mm in boxes. More storage than standard military ammo cans, the footprint is about 2x horizontally, but only 0.5x vertically. Since it is not deep, it's a lot easier to see what you have in the crate, as opposed to having to empty half of it to see what is on the bottom.
