Get expertly landscaped results with the Worx WG184E 40V 33cm Cordless Grass Trimmer and Wheeled Edger. The WG184E.9 is powered by two 20V Power Share Max Lithium batteries (not included) to extend your runtime and give your trimmer/edger a petrol-like performance. It's easy to switch this trimmer into an edger, just push a button and rotate the head. The Command Feed spool system gives you more line whenever you push its button. The variable speed throttle right next to it lets you ramp up the speed for tougher grass, or decrease the speed to save battery when the trimming is easy. This tool has the same grade line that professiol lawn care crews use on their trimmers, so you'll be proud of the results. The adjustable D-grip handle lets you work from any angle you need to, and the pivoting head lets you cut on uneven stretches of lawn. Please note that the WG184E.9 is a BARE UNIT model - both batteries and chargers are sold separately. Technical Specifications Rated Voltage: 40V MAX (2x20V MAX) Cutting Diameter: 33cm Line Diameter: 2cm

Quality build, poor battery life
Already a fan of the Worx range, I'm a little disappointed with this machine.Having drills, hedge cutters and even a chainsaw on the battery share thing, I was frustrated at just how quickly this machine drains 2 x 20v batteries!Only used it twice, poor battery time both times, but I'll keep it in my van as an edger. I thought I'd be able to leave my petrol strimmer behind on garden days and I probably can...if I bring 6-8 batteries with me.As for build and quality, then it's the usual Worx high standards. If you've got one garden that can be 99% mown and then 1% strumming around edges, this machine is fine.If you are cutting as a business or clearing a paddock etc...pack your petrol strimmer!

Heavy but effective
I replaced a petrol whipper snipper that was always tricky to start and set up. And i had a worx drill in the cupboard which came with 2 4Ah batteries which i hardly use. I manage my parents large garden and so need powerful tools that are up to the task. Given the double battery capacity on this it is reasonably powerful and has done a reasonable job. Its easy to use and quick to set up.You buy new cassettes with the twine loaded so i quite like that as could never load the stuff properly but others may think it is wasteful although expect you could reload it if wished to try. So far this has been tackling a year of growth and garden is looking better. Its heavy though with both batteries loaded and balance takes some getting used to and a strap would be a good addition. However, it has the power and lasts a good 20 minutes of heavy use and so far has not run out of power while using - obviously it takes a little while to recharge both batteries as i only have one charger. But its a lot easier than petrol and just as versatile so for me this is ideal. If you have the 4ah batteries sitting there this is good way to get some more use out of them.

Just brilliant, end of.
It's been some years since I purchased a new strimmer, but I was pleasantly surprised at the power and efficiency of my new WORX WG184E.9 40V.The cut radius is much bigger than my old machine and the overall length of the thing made it massive by comparison.I was sceptical as to the power output until I squeezed the trigger. The thing is a beast and I must admit, It took a few minutes to get to grips with the double hand use. I have approximately 70m of circumference to trim and I got round extremely quickly without constantly needing to snip away the raggy end of the strim reel. I also have approximately 29m of paving to trim, meaning the ability to rotate the head and use the wheel attachment for edging simple to use.The batteries lasted well still showing 3 out of 5 lights of power remaing. The only criticism if any, would be its balance, I personally found it front heavy, but I was only using 2.4 Amp hour batteries, 4.0 Amp Hr will balance better.

Works well battery charge lasts about 20 minutes
Ok so I have worx items already so decided to purchase this as needed short term strimmers solution. Overall this works very well for a small garden thay doesn't need a heavy strimmers. Battery charge is about 20 minutes for me but it worked well during this time. It's very lightweight as I also use a petrol strimmers. If you have worx batteries it's great if not then maybe check else where.

Waited a year to review
Fantastic strimmer, no hassle with petrol and smoke and has more power than a small petrol strimmer i own! I use 5ah batterys and does a very large garden and high grass and weeds and still has 50% charge left when done. Ill never go back to petrol after this.
