Really works!
It takes a week or more, but they will eat it. Be careful of pets. They are attracted to it. My dog ate it resulting in an expensive after hours vet visit. I tried traps, sticky pads with no luck. I wish I’d have known about it sooner!

Toxic Rat bait broken open
I know the product itself is effective having used before. However Amazon packaging left the container of Rat poison tub to bounce around in a oversize box, and the lid popped open and the rat bait cubes and powder were scattered all over the inside of the box. This stuff is highly toxic and rubber gloves are required for handling. This was a heck of a mess to deal with. Buy direct for professional packaging of toxic product.

There are FOUR buckets, not just one
It's a GREAT product, but FOUR buckets is FAR too much. I can't believe we can't only order one bucket of these baits. One bucket lasts me about a year; and I have 7 traps.

Knocks 'em Out
Works as advertised. I researched and it's clear there are several effective bait blocks on the market. However, cannot complain about the great results with Contrac. I have not done a precise side by side although I have used both Tom Cat & Contrac at the same time in two different parts of my well rat-populated Florida property, although I mostly relied on the Contrac blox The population completely collapsed within about a week. Naturally there were a few dead "stinkers" that I never found, but most apparently died outside the structures. The bait was eagerly eaten every time I placed it in active areas. When the bait stopped being eaten, I knew the rats were all gone. That was 6 weeks ago and have not heard or seen a single rat yet. However, I will place some more this week to nip any possible members of a new generation. Highly recomended.

Kills em dead
I live in NYC, rat central. I had several rats in my garden that I wanted gone. This bait can be hidden in feeders on a small spike or just left out in the open if it's away from other pets and kids that may get at it. The rats are drawn to it and die, it's that simple. Luckily they tend to take the bait away and die elsewhere, but I know they're dead. Works great, highly recommend.
