It is what it says it is. I'm happy with it.Install gets only 3 stars because of the rifle, not the rail - the rail is standard stuff - easy-peasy.Just a note to others - my 10/22 had factory receiver screws that were flat blade and installed using superglue - RUGER'S FAULT.Only real issue is the center cut of the rail is NOT deep enough to see the bottom of the rear iron sight at factory (short range) setting. I haven't had it out yet to see if it's a real issue, or for what distances. I suspect it will need maybe 2mm milled off - which might mean grinding down the rail screws 1mm - neither cut should cause any problem. Yes, I'm being fussy. Also note that some rail-mount accessories use a cross-screw for mounting - should be OK, tho.P.S. Ruger cheaped out on the sight adjustment screws, too. Hope to find tiny hexhead setscrews.
