I made two purchases at the same time I ordered this scoop. The first was for the "PetFusion Cat Litter Box Large (the BetterBox - set of 2). NON-STICK Coating for easier cleaning & superior hygiene. Litter pans made of stronger ABS" (search the entire term in quotations and you'll find the product). These litter boxes were one of the best things I'd ever bought! The second purchase, as you probably guessed, was for the "IPRIMIO Cat Litter Scooper with Deep Shovel" and outside of those boxes, this shovel was THE. BEST. PURCHASE. EVER!So, with the boxes, NOTHING STICKS. And I do mean _NOTHING_. =D With the scoops, there's nothing that CAN stick. Nothing that can stay behind! Its deep trough, its long handle, the weight of it, it's just all done RIGHT! Worth probably EVERY PENNY I paid for it ($12.95 for the scoop // $60 for two of the boxes), and possibly more, I was (and AM!) extremely satisfied.This scooper does everything I need (and meets the demands of everything I ask of it!). It's one of the hardest working tools in my arsenal when it comes to taking care of our kitties, and taking care of them is our responsibility!! If you are a new pet owner, or just a really old one like me (;DD), this will absolutely help you in the ways that you need! Just be careful! This scoop is made out of quality solid cast aluminum (not shoddy molded plastic). That means that it has the weight and heft of a _REAL_ engineered sifter! Keep your other hand up out of the way, or you might get a skinned knuckle or two! ;DSeriously, though! Trust me on this one and get this YESTERDAY. These folks know what they're doing and it's always nice to support local industry (especially when it's a product you can get behind!!). This company is from Michigan, and they say that customer satisfaction is their top priority! I can't really speak to that, since I had no reason to complain, but a company's word is just as important as their quality, so! I make mention of it! I would say this... if I had the occasion to give a scoop as a gift (like to an Auntie or a cousin or something like that!), I would give this scoop out like it came with a dozen cookies! ;D I would give this scoop to friends, neighbors, and co-workers alike! It's great, it really is! And I'm completely unbiased. Just one user who knows how to appreciate an amazing product when she sees it!!

For me the most important feature in a litter scooper is that it can capture tiny soiled particles quickly and efficiently. This scooper does that. My litter of choice is fairly fine grained and there is nothing I hate more than leaving tiny bits in the box that need to be removed. So far this scooper is performing great. It is very sturdy, comfy to hold, well balanced, large enough to do the job quickly. For tiny bits that are too small to be caught even by this scooper, the curved front corner can be used to pick those up. Fortunately this is not necessary very often, I usually just use that method to grab foreign material that might have gotten into the box like plant burrs, hair, etc. The nonstick feature seems to help some with preventing wet material from sticking, but it is still necessary to clean that off at times. The seller suggested using Pam spray or cooking oil to lightly coat the surface of the scooper to increase the nonstick property. I may try this, but since I'm in the habit of cleaning it off with spray peroxide or alcohol and a paper towel if it's gets dirty, I'm not sure how often I would bother with this step. I do wonder how durable the nonstick surface will be as it constantly gets used in the abrasive litter material, but time will tell. I use corn or wheat based litter which may be a little less rough on it than clay, so perhaps that will help. Since the nonstick feature is the least important to me, I'm not too concerned about it. Shipping was fast and and it was great relief when it came so quickly, as I found myself unexpectedly taking in a sick kitty and forgot to grab a scoop in the rush to get everything needed. I had to ask my faithful slotted spatula to make the supreme sacrifice, which it nobly did, but of course it was not designed for the task and this made cleaning the box an even less pleasant job than it already is. My life is so much better with this quality scoop which I certainly recommend to anyone using fine grained litter.

I absolutely love this scooper. The weight is perfect - very well made and durable. The used litter slides right off and does not stick. I highly recommend this product.

I can't imagine EVER needing a new cat litter scoop again!! I was absolutely AMAZED at the quality, especially for such a low price!! Yes, it's priced higher than the plastic scoops - but we always wind up breaking the handle of the plastic ones within a year or two (sometimes less, depending on the brand), and since this one is made from a single aluminum mold, there's NO WAY it's going to break. The sifter slots are just the right size. We also used to have trouble with those tiny pieces that fall through all sifters - but with this scoop, you can just collect those against the deep sides and dump them right out. Gets into the corners very well - which is great, because our cats seem to head right to the corners of the litterbox!! We used to have trouble digging the corners out to keep it clean, but we don't have that problem now!! Wonderful product - HIGHLY recommended!!UPDATE: We honestly can't praise this scoop enough!! I have a chronic illness that has been making it difficult for me to clean the litterbox for years - but with this scoop, clean-up is a BREEZE - what used to take 10-15 minutes now takes 3-5 minutes, and I can finally help with this chore again!! It seems like each and every time I or my husband clean the box, we just HAVE to talk about how great it is to have this scoop - our only problem with it is that they didn't make it YEARS ago!! :-) These guys REALLY LISTENED to the problems cat owners had, and made a scoop that works perfectly and will last for years and years. You will save SO much money in the long run by buying this product!! BUY IT - YOU WON'T REGRET IT FOR A SECOND!!!!

Works better than my plastic ones due to the slots being a bit smaller. Heavier due to the scoop being metal but better scooping and a comfortable handle make up for that. Just started using so we’ll see.
