Awesome Auxiliary LED Lights (KTM 1190 Adv-R motorcycle)
Bottom Line Up Front:Awesome; I will buy this product again for other applications.I purchased this brand exclusively based upon Amazon reviews while I was frustrated with expensive (allegedly high quality) options out there for LED auxiliary light sets. Now I must pay it forward. Most of the reviewers were correct. This light kit is fantastic, while considering its cheap price.I refused to pay for extremely expensive KTM branded auxiliary LED lights, and 'other expensive options.' I just needed extra lights to angle them at the 11 o'clock and the 1 o'clock positions, so that cage drivers (car drivers) can see that I am near them. Secondly, I needed angled lighting while riding off-road at night.Enter the silly named "Handster" light set. The purchase experience was first-rate. Delivery was fast.Over 1.5 years later, I felt compelled to write this review. These lights are still functioning great! They are bright, and they withstood normal abuse from riding on the freeway and excursions off-road.KTM 1190 Adventure-R and similar European motorcycles with complex electronics, ABS, traction control, lean bank angle traction control - are usually finicky with add-on electrical accessories. These lights posed zero issues for me. The amperage power draw was fairly low, yet the lights were powerful enough to be visible by the cage drivers during the daytime.Warning:If you have rudimentary electrical wiring skills - this will be a very easy installation. For folks with less skills, learn how to crimp wires together, and solder wires with shrink tubing / heat gun. You must build your own wiring harness set up, specific to your motorcycle or other type of vehicle. The lights come with short wires attached to the light pods - nothing else.Mounting Hardware:I recommend that you purchase mounting kits available on Amazon Prime. They function great. I mounted them to the OEM stock crash bars on the KTM 1190 Adventure R model (22mm / 0.85" diameter steel tubing). "Nilight" brand was one such mounting kits out of many that I purchased for several motorcycles.

Motorcycle lights
The price is really good for such a well made product. Doesn't get too hot or require a lot of power. I mounted these at about 20" off the ground to my engine guard frame. Wired it to my fuse box so that it only comes on when ignition key is in on position. I use a separate switch to turn on or off. Day or night it really makes it easier for other drivers to see you. Gives me extra light on what's ahead of me on the road from deer to potholes. Well worth the money.

These Lights Work For CARS too
I installed these lights on my 1999 Ford Crown Victoria, with only 67,000 miles on it, under the front bumper in the slots for air flow to radiator. Did it at the same time I installed 2023 Hikari Future 65 watt 30000 lumen Dual Beam LED Bulbs.Wow. Talk about lighting up the roadway !!!!!And, when aimed properly, not a single driver coming in the opposite direction has flashed their lights indicating they are too bright. Also, being mounted so low, they make excellent fog lights.

Good addition to KLR
I purchased these to install on my Kawasaki KLR 650. They are bolted to a dedicated auxiliary light bracket I purchased separately, which made installation easy. They arrived nicely packaged with mounting hardware. The housings feel substantial and solid in the hand, not flimsy or thin, and seem reasonably watertight. Once installed, they clearly supplement the light from my headlight and provide a nice white light. Each unit has a uniform circular light pattern that's about 3-4' wide at about 20 feet, with a gradual falling off of the light pattern from the center of the circle outwards - a definite edge to the brightest circle, but not a sharp edge. I would not say they are blindingly bright, but definitely an improvement for my use for additional daytime visibility and enhanced road vision in the dark. The pivot between the light itself and the mounting plate is difficult to get sufficiently tight - it still wants to wiggle a few degrees on both lamps, which means I'll need to check their aim frequently and perhaps find a way to increase the stiffness/friction of that connection.
