I had to swap out the filters at work, so I snagged these. Its a quick pop and swap, easy to install. No issues. Better price than going through Elkay directly too.

Easy install Elkay filter. Lasts a long time. Used in a commercial gym facility. All you have to do is twist and turn it in.

Original equipment fits and performs exactly as it should. I saved money by purchasing generic filters which fit, but were not recognized by the water stations. You get what you pay for !

Easy to change & the water always has great flavor. Don't buy knock-off if you want light green.
If it doesn't have the RFID sticker on the side, it will not signal to the drinking fountain that the filter has been changed. So, if you purchase a genuine filter and the sticker isn't there (happened to us once), then the light will not switch from red to green on the front of the machine when it is replaced. For that reason, we are careful to purchase the genuine filter from Elkay, because it isn't appealing to most people to drink from a fountain with the RED light warning them that the filter isn't good.That said, this genuine filter is pricey, but lasts about 1 year in our home.

Elkay is hard to reset, plus a safety issue
The filter itself is fine. But ... Anyone replacing this filter for the first time should be warned that the electrical wall plug is directly behind the filter and you and the outlet will be doused with water when it's removed, even with the water main shut off. You should isolate the electrical cord and outlet with a cloth. Also - none of the Elkay instructions for resetting the filter counter actually worked, and Elkay tech support was "not available" every time I called for assistance.
