It works as I have fallen in this thing several times now. It is cooler than my coat and has more protection. Quality feels cheap but it has held up well. Wish it came in white. It gets hot in the sun even under the jersey, black still socks up the radiation. I ordered this by accident as I thought I was getting a better quality. I failed to read the description again. I ordered XXLarge I weigh 235 and I am 5'10" and it fits snug but I think as it should. Not uncomfortable after it has been on for a few minutes. If you are looking for a very inexpensive armored vest I would recommend it.

Ok for the money but I'll get something else and use this as a backup. I'm 6'1 225 and the 3xl fits snug and doesn't prevent movement.Cons- the forearm straps are so short I can't even thread them through the buckle. I'm no blacksmith.- The plastic parts feel like they're too small and don't give good coverage for my size. I have a feeling the smaller versions share the same armor but fit better on smaller bodies. The difference being the mesh size is bigger.Pros- very light compared to my old name brand set.- cheap but will help if you land on a sharp rock- good to have as emergency backup because of price

I ordered an XXXL and it fits like a large Nike dry fit. I'm #185 and 6'2". It's snug if not tight around the arms and baggy around the waist (mine is 33") I love the fit it was nice riding in town with it today in the warmer weather. If you have strong bean arms and a sapling for a waist you'll likely fit in the gear. If anyone has ever made a flattering or FATterig comment about your arms, chest, or torso, you may need to shop elsewhere 😭

The zippers were very flimsy, the plastic pads didn't quite cover the elbow or shoulders, the straps were too short and slipped off easily.It looks, feels, and is cheap. I'm glad it's just for a costume cause I wouldn't trust my life to it. It's more suited for rollerblading or skate boarding then motorcycle riding.It did not fit as expected. Even though I'm usually a medium, I ordered large to wear it over clothing, but it fits more like a shirt than a jacket. I'll have to just cut the pads out and make different harness for it.

I ordered this product and let me say, I am not a large individual, I originally ordered a large but upon reading reviews I ordered XL. I am 5'9 180 Lbs and Xl is tight, during my ride 20 min into it my arms started to hurt and I was feeling tired, come to the conclusion that the arms were so tight they were cutting off blood supply to my arms. I had to cut off the arm protection and sleeves in order to feel ok, waste of my money.

Got this for a base for my Mandalorain armor build, which still has a LOT of work to do but seems to be comming alogn great so far. It's got some fine tuning to do and I've weathered the fabric some, but so far it's working out great as a plate carrier. It's a bit small on me and I'm 6'0 190lbs, but its mainly a bit snug on the arms. Not enough to cause circulatory issues but if you have bigger forearms you might have issues. I'd also say I'm at the upper limit/max size for this jacket, if you're much bigger I'd recommend a bigger set. As for its efficacy as motorcycle armor....well that I can't attest to. Sure, it beats nothing, but as a registered nurse I've seen guys from motorcycle wrecks....I'd likely spend the coin and get a higher end suit.Hope this helps!
