Heavier than a 1953 hoover I once had and I've had all types but the suction power I think I could power my cycle with it nearly ducked up my shoes with it 😅 amazing job

I have a feeling the designer of this had never seen or used a Hoover before, and instead had one explained to him over a bad phone line. It's ok in the upright position, if a little heavy and awkward, but every time you want to use the hose, you have to bend over double, fiddle with a latch, pul out the handle, and then fight with the hose as it is pinned to the side of the Hoover making stairs a nightmare. Not one for the older folks, or anyone with a bad back, unless you want a bad back, then this is the Hoover for you.

Had this 6 months and had to replace the brush belt twice in the first month, the pipe I had to replace twice in the last two months and now the brush bar doesn't even spin.DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!

When I purchased the Machair Revive my physical capabilities were that of a mere woman, fast forward 6 months and I am competing in Europe's Strongest Woman simply from heaving this shiny beauty around my house. I have also gained a PHD by managing to release the nozzle from it's complex trap after just 3 months.Another massive bonus to the Vax Machair is it allows me to indulge in my favourite pastime of "has it gone up the nozzle yet?" Pushing a piece of fluff around for good 5 minutes before suctioning.To sum up, I literally cannot recommend this product enough, it has blown my tiny mind (and most of the fluff back into my home.)NB - 1* only awarded due to breaking my leg in 3 places tripping over the lead while maneuvering this rather cumbersome thing round my kitchen.
