Gorgeous design
This serving dish is absolutely gorgeous. I love it! My hubby was complimenting it the second he saw me taking out of box. Which was well packaged by the way. I would say calling it a gift box is a reach but it's nice and it would be easy to wrap. The dish itself is a very good quality stoneware. The leafy design makes it even more beautiful and I really like the colour of it. It's microwave safe but it's too big to for our microwave so I cannot comment on that part. At a lrice of 18 pounds, it's a good value for money but at the moment you can get uour hands on it for 13 pounds as it's on sale. For a good quality high street brand for this price, it's a bargain. I would absolutely recommend itI hope you find my review helpful :)

Maxwell & Williams Ceramic Oval serving bowl
This bowl comes in a really nice colourful Maxwell & Williams retail box and would make a great gift item. This is a really pretty shade of green in a rainforest leaf embossed inspired design it is lovely.Maxwell & Williams are a well known and trusted retail store brand and their products are always a treat to handle. This serving bowl is 12.5” x 9” (32cm x 23cm) microwave and dishwasher safe ideal to serve treats hot or cold in or simply to have as a display piece in its own right. Which is what we will do with this one.For sale at £17.99 at the time of the review I would say it is good value for money considering the quality of it.It is part of a collection of green and white dishes in a variety of different sizes, 2 or 3 more would give you a lovely service!I would certainly recommend this bowl (And everything else I have seen from Maxwell & Williams) to anyone.

What's the Dish
I always think it is a shame that people have two sets of dishes: one for every day, the other for best. These best days are often few and far between so you may as well eat off fantastic plates all the time. The 'Panama Collection' from Maxwell & Williams will let you do this as they not only look great, but they are also very functional and hard wearing. This serving dish is perfect for most things from fruit to hot food in the middle of the table. The Kiwi Green may not be to everyone's taste, but we love it in this house. You can get the same pattern in white as well, this makes the leaves pressed into the stoneware subtle, but they also make perfect sense in green. They are leaves after all! The quality is high, and it can be washed and reused with no impact to the pattern as it is pressed.

Beautifully designed and spacious
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Until fairly recently, I hadn't heard of the Maxwell & Williams brand, but having now received a few of their items, I'm a massive fan.As with their other products, this serving dish is big and beautiful. The pattern/texture is beautiful and obviously when coupled with the fecund green makes for a beautifully organic, botanical looking platter. The stoneware has a satisfying ring when tapped, and is obviously very high quality. The glaze is also amazing and just reflects beautifully in the light. It's generously sized, with plenty of space for salad, fruit or even left empty as a display piece. Weight-wise, it's a little heavy but that is to be expected with such a well-sized, quality piece of stoneware. This is truly a stunning piece, but their entire range is too so it's not that much of a surprise.

Beautiful design and good quality
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. The oval serving plate feels sturdy, I like the oval design which makes it look even more elegant with good food presentation.I have used it on special occasions also I have a plate like these and it makes a good game because it is from the same brand so they look nice and I think they are of good quality.I have a large microwave but not enough to fit the dish inside but beyond that I really like the space it has, be it for salads, chicken or pasta, it is really nice at first glance. It is made of stoneware and arrived very well packaged without damage.I hope my review, videos and photos have been helpful.

Solid but not spectacular
I slipped this into my partner's Christmas gifts along with 9 other presents I paid for just to see if she was disappointed or delighted. After all, she is a huge fan of Australia and would emigrate there in a heartbeat if she could. She seemed moderately impressed but has since said nothing about it and if I'm honest that kind of makes sense. It's an okay bowl, in fact quite a nice bowl, but not a bowl to bowl one over. The dimensions are modest, the sculpting is understated, the utility is borderline questionable. I would consider it nice enough to sit on a shelf or be used without eliciting disgust but neither is it remarkable enough to draw praise.

Maxwell & Williams Panama Oval Serving Dishe Not Oven Safe Though
I’m in a bit of a not sure mind with this. Used as a fruit bowl or serving dish for crisps ideal as can be put into dishwasher. Can even be used in the microwave but not the oven as not oven proof. Have tried it on our microwave and it doesn’t fit well enough fits in but to turn round a no no.Would have loved it to be ovenproof too as would have made it value for money and also more usable.Like the green colouring and design of it but just wished it were ovenproof too. It’s one of those dishes that looks good yes but lacking one thing for the price that’s being ok for use in oven.

Nice rustic bowl.
This is a good stoneware type bowl and would make a lovely gift. It’s green with foliage relief - while the colour might initially put some off, it looks great when piled up with food. It’s quite thick and heavyweight not a delicate piece of bone China but still nice. It says it’s dishwasher and microwave safe, but it’s not the sort of thing I’d use in the microwave so I can’t attest to its safety in that case. It sits in a low oven keeping stuff warm very nicely and being thick it retains its heat so a very good serving dish.
