There's no point, once it's charged, it lasts for ages.

No because the voltage required to charge the 2 litium batteries is much lower than that traditional plugs are meant to provide which is 220 volt alternative current. A usb provides as far as I know about 5.6 volt direct current and this is what the lithium batteries require to get charged Hopefully this helps you. Regards...

Has this torch got a broad beam? I noticed one of the reviews said that the beam was narrow and I need a broad one.

Depends what you mean by narrow, it’s like a car headlight, so similar to a car with only one headlight working. The torch beam is excellent on either power setting in my opinion, it illuminates a road or path for at least 50/100 metres and more, but the beam is focussed, so brightly illuminating an area around 5-10 metres wide immediately in front of you. Obviously the further away from you the beam stretches so the light tends to spread wider. It’s easily the most powerful torch I’ve ever had and i think it is excellent value. As a further point it also has an additional light panel that can be used for more general illumination e.g. in a tent or similar

Great torch - good value for money

This torch is actually brilliant. Holds battery for ages - I use it when we muck out horse fields in the pitch black and am absolutely delighted with it. I think it’s incredible value for money.There are several light settings very bright, medium, flashing and I don’t use the red and blue light settings.

Super Bright LED Torch

I bought this item as a gift, but on trying it out, I'm going to purchase another one for myself.It's compact size and power is amazing, for any situation. The strap allows freedom to move around and my elderly mother in law is going to enjoy using this product.

Great for a month

The build isn’t quite as robust as what is suggested in the photos but this is still a bright and powerful spotlight. We were very pleased with it while it worked. Which was for about a month. Junk!

Versitile

A very well designed and thought out torch. It can be easily adapted to be used as a traditional hand held torch, or mounted on a very simple bracket. The torch holds its charge very well and is easy to recharge. There are two modes of setting complete with three variations within each mode. They all have their uses, but the powerful hand held torch is the best.
