Too big for my kayak
To save other kayakers some time, I just want to note that these are TOO BIG for the Spitfire 8 foot kayak. Can't even squeeze them in the scupper hole, the silicone is not very squishable to fit. Otherwise these seem to be sturdy and well made which is why I gave them 5 stars. The fact I can't easily measure my scuppers is not their fault. Only reason I won't return is because I tried trimming one of the plugs down to fit (which didn't work.)

These are great and work well, but I think the rubber could be a little softer. They tend to pop out occasionally, but otherwise, they fit perfectly in the holes and are easy to use. Good value.

Won’t Stay in Scupper Holes
I had bought these to plug up a drain hole that was missing the stopper. As I had guessed I had to carve it down to fit, but it plugs it up just fine for average use.These are intended for the scupper holes and they even fit in my old used kayak scupper holes. However either the kayak is old or this material doesn’t have enough grip to them. They pop out of the scupper holes easily even in calm waters and wouldn’t work. 3 stars to be able to modify one for the drain plug, minus 2 for them not working for their manufactured use.

Not a bad plug.
I only wish they were a little bigger. The next size was too big. Just don’t over do it pulling them too deep then is hard to pull out. Have not lost any yet. I made purchase another bag for safe keeping. I saw on YouTube that some people use form golf balls and in time they wear out. I have a Old town Sportsman 120 PDL.

Not universal- material is too hard, falls out of hole.
The plug material is too hard, it’s more of a hard rubber vs silicone. The plugs fit fine the holes however They don’t stay in place no matter how hard you push them in. I cannot recommend this project and admit I should have read the reviews instead of just seeing a lot of good reviews. I would not recommend this product, there are cheaper more efficient options, do your research.
