It works!
It DOES show urine stains! I didn’t buy this to find secret pet pee spots, but I can verify it does indeed work for that. I bought it to troubleshoot my car’s AC system, and it works lovely to find the leak. If you’re troubleshooting your AC, and you inject some UV dye, you’ll need this to pinpoint the leak, and it does it well. The price was right, and it works a treat.

Works great for detecting cat urine!
We had to foster a cat and were concerned that it might have been missing the littler box. I used it at night and it and did fine a few spots. I took some photos with my cell phone, and the next day knew exactly where to focus cleaning the next day. By the way, the cat is fully recovered and not more accidents.

Kinda wish I didn’t see what I saw… but it works great!
This little UV flashlight is wild. It’s small, super bright, and yep—it definitely shows you what’s been hiding. I used it around the house and quickly realized my dog has been sneakier than I thought. Also… maybe just avoid using it in the kids’ room unless you’re mentally ready for that adventure.It comes with batteries (nice!), and it’s been working great right out of the box. Super easy to use, no weird setup. Honestly, it’s kinda fun in a gross way—and super useful if you’re trying to find hidden messes.Totally worth it. Just… don’t say I didn’t warn you....

Great uv light that works as expected. It is bright compact full and functions great. Definitely don’t go in the kids room with it.
