This gets a high review because it is ridiculously priced in my local fabric store and I was happy to find here for much less! I have been using to patch furniture from my terrible dog who thinks leather furniture is food. 🙄 This cuts well, is very nice quality, and is cheaper than I can find locally. I use on my sofa, chair, and camper couch (yes, the dog is a menace). Sigh.

Used this for an intro into leather sewing and I am very pleased. I was up and stitching in moments! The case is fantastic and everything fits back in easily, 💯 worth the buy.

The thread is nice & sturdy, the needles & tools work fantastically.

I do wish I had seen this and purchased it before I made purchases of items in this kit. I don’t intend to take up any hobby or employment using this kit. I intend to continue repairing and retrofitting some of my camping gear. For my use the kit is a good purchase for the price. The many tools and needles are comprehensive for the kit. The tools and needles are less expensive than I could find in local stores. Some items were already purchased via Amazon and the sum of those prices exceeded this kit. The quality of the tools is adequate for my use with one exception. The gold tone metal strip that is supposed to be a thimble. It is too small for my fingers unless I were to use it with a gap between the ends. In which case that would not be safe. I have previously purchased a better thimble. I will not evaluate the thread quality because I can already using other thread. The threads appear to be about like most threads sold. Having all these items in the little kit is easier for me than selecting items from a large box. It fits in the box and groups the tools I wish to use for my projects.

Great little kit especially for a beginner. I was able to repair a vintage Aigner duffel bag on my own with the help of YOUTUBE. The local repair shop has closed so DIY worth a try. The kit had everything I needed.
