I got this to help install some heat control window film in my house. Having used the cheap plastic ones that often come in the window tint kits, this by far exceeds the performance and quality. I'm very pleased with my purchase on this item (30 degree blades) as well as the pointier 60 degree version (AD-2P). It's a great upgrade compared to all the flimsier plastic ones.# Pros- Quality made - what you can expect with Japanese cutlery.- Performed well for window film. Sturdy and precise. Does not wiggle like all the plastic ones do.- Sharp, the blades are excellent and NT offers 50 packs of the blades.- Has a clip for pockets and doubles as a blade snapper.# Cons- NoneFor those DIYers and crafty pinteresters - this is a perfect cutting tool for you. I got both the 30 and 60 degree model of this item thinking the 60 degree angle would give me the edge (no pun intended) while installing window film. Both worked great but the 60 degree did help with the corners of the windows.

Firstly, I have been holding off getting a quality blade holder like this because I didn't know if it was worth it. Finally bit the bullet the other day and WISH I had done this years ago.I learned of this brand from Adam Savage's TESTED channel on YouTube and found this model shortly after. If it's good enough for his shop it's good enough for ANYONE (short of window tinters and wrappers who should use the plastic version).This tool is incredibly rigid, being made from stamped and folded stainless steel. There is no flex and almost NO blade play.I love the symmetrical design. I am left handed and nothing irks me more than a tool not designed ergonomically for my use. All I had to do was flip the blade over in 10 seconds and it's perfect for me now.This tool weighs virtually NOTHING. I could carry it in my pocket and not feel it at all for a whole day. I also trust the lock design way more than cheap plastic versions of this tool.Quality of cut depends on the blades you use within the tool, but the included blade is incredibly sharp and even cuts through cardboard like it's nothing.My last comment is on the feel and sound of the mechanism. I cannot begin to describe how firm it feels in the hand but also how smooth it is to move the slider. It almost seems paradoxical; the sound alone is incredibly pleasing to the ear.

I wrap vehicle and these are the best brand period. They are strong and durable, great value for the money. They are basic in design but much more solid and they fit well in your hand. The blades changes are simple to do. Great company that makes great tools.

Lightweight and durable

I have purchased a few of these because I keep losing them. That's not the fault of the knife.The blades are sharp. The product is well-manufactured and well thought-out.There is very little play in the blade, allowing for very accurate cuts. The difference is drastic compared to cheap plastic-bodied cutters. I will continue to buy these (and probably lose them) as long as they're available.

#1, the photos provided are good enough but they do no justice to what you will see/feel when your new knive arrives!#2, I look forward to a long time with this knife. My ~similar looking Olfa 9mm knife is pushing on a decade. Having 2 of these such knifes around the house is going to be nice.
