To my pleasant surprise,this bike actually arrived way earlier than I expected. I have assembled many bikes before this one but this one was about 75% pre assembled already so it only took me about 45 minutes to finish it. I test rode it the next day and it rides very well. Its my first e-bike and I thought for sure I could just press a button and ride without pedaling. Nope, no such luck. But it assists as you pedal.The more you pedal, the more the motor kicks in.When you stop, it stops. Pretty cool concept insures you still get a workout.Its a nice looking bike too with thick tires, spring shock forks,disc brakes and speed shifter gears. It even comes with a night headlight and push button horn. The kickstand is nice too. The seat is basic and entry level.You wont stay on it all day but comfortable enough. I will warn you. This sucker is heavy with the motor and rear wheel so if you live on the above the first floor, you may want to leave it downstairs chained up. The battery has a theft proof lock with keys so you can take it with you . A great bike for a great price with a ton of bells and whistles. Don`t pass this one up. Happy Trails!*********************UPDATE**********************Yes you can ride it like a scooter without pedaling!!!After a little online research I found out all you have to do is hold the “-“ button after the initial turn on. When the “low speed “ light goes out, you are in Cruise Mode and when you twist the throttle and the bike will take off without you pedaling. The downside to this is that your battery life will be shortened probably to about 2 hours off a full charge. Enjoy the ride!!!!

i'm the first one to complain if not as expected, so i figured i should write a good review when merited!Very nice EBike. i was reluctant to order since some questions but very happy so far. i've only had it a week and ltd use so we'll see how it holds up.1. works very well on pedal assist. 3 levels. level 1 for general riding. kicks in quickly when you peddle. a little faster than i'd like but ok. level 2-3 goes up big hills easily2. i'm 74 yrs. old. average weight and in avg. shape.3. assembly: i'd say it's more like 70% assembled but all the tricky stuff (controls, wires, battery ) is pre-wired. took about 1 hour but my son (experienced biker) did most of it. might have taken me 90 minutes.4. seat not so good. i bought a very padded one. need to watch size of seat tube. it's 27mm.5. battery and charger seem fine so far. charges in a few hours. battery has on/off switch and easy to charge. battery has lock/key on it. trick : battery actually locks in place when installed; key is used to release it.6. brakes are disc and work fine. needed a little adjustment but no big deal.7. handle bar adjustment to very upright IS A GREAT FEATURE and easy to adj.

This bike is perfect for older people who need a little assistance in getting up the hill.I am 80 and my neighbor is 92 we each have this bike and enjoy it very much.If you want to ride off road you will need a more power and better suspension.

I am totally happy with this electric bike it came on time undamaged and was very easy to assemble the few parts that needed to be put on the bike, every thing works well and it rides great, it is so much fun to ride compared to a regular mountain bike especially up hills and on windy days when my regular mountain bike was too much effort, no problem with this bike. So i would highly recommend this bike and seller to others.

I bought one of these bikes about six months ago for my wife and she loved it. And then I bought another one for me. They are great fun. The batteries seem to last a long time we took them on a 3 mile ride up in the hills and there was still 3/4 battery left when we got back we ride them a lot on a trail that was an old rail bed and they seem to go forever and ever on flat ground.

BEWARE - seller does not communicate at al with all the issues you will have with this cheap electric bike. You get what you pay for. Avoid at all costs. Buy a well known brand, it's worth the money

Brought about a month ago to use for work hadn't rode a bike for years and am now riding 5 miles a day to and back from work I have a bad knee and still find it really easy with this bike the only thing about it was the saddle it's very uncomfortable but I brought a new one and am loving riding to work every day.

Refusal to Return!DEFECTIVE!!I bought this bike for my son. At first he loved it until 3 weeks into using it the petal and arm fell off. Upon inspection it appears that the bolt and petal arm is wollered out. New bolt was installed but it only lasted 2 or 3 days.Multie Requests were made to seller for a return or a Guarantee that if I accepted parts and tried to fix bike I could still return within a specific time frame. The DODGED all of my DIRECT questions with INDIRECT answers so as of this morning I filed an Investigation with Amazon.SAVE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY FOR A SELLER THAT ACTUALLY STANDS BEHIND THEIR PRODUCT!
