Awesome product at great price
I will start this with a disclosure, I am a multiple Synergy product user. Tri-Suit, Wet Suit and other items. I have come to love their products, the fit, the quality, and especially nice is the price point. High quality at a reasonable price. I am a new age group triathlete, I am heading into my 6th race. I am 6-3, 210 lbs. I am providing all the above for context. I have just put my swim skin through its first swims in the pool. What you will notice at first is this is a snug suit, and it is supposed to be. At first it can feel a bit constricting, however after 1-2 pool lengths that feeling eased and what you are left with is the feeling of excellent support. It literally made me feel like holding a streamline position, and even if just in my mind, I could feel the suit slipping through the water. There is no constriction on arm movement and the compression is the perfect amount of support. The sizing chart Synergy provides is very accurate, just know it will be very snug at first, and pretty much impossible to zip up on your own so you will need help. Synergy has a great video on YouTube showing how to get into the suit. It is short and a lot of common sense but it was very helpful and informative, I recommend watching it. To get the suit off just flip the zipper up and pull, and the suit unzips and comes off very easily even when running. As for speed, I am a consistent 2:05/100 yard swimmer, in the suit I was coming in @1:50-1:55. So I will attest that this will take time off your swim. In my case I suspect due to the support and holding in a more streamline position was the key for the fairly significant decrease. This decrease has held over multiple sessions as well. The material has a very unique feel to it, and the water literally beads and rolls off of the suit. I have not yet put it through a whole season of use but the quality looks high and if like their other products I am anticipating no issues. However should there ever be any, I know Synergy Customer Service will do everything to assist. I have had to reach out to them before on other items and their service is simply top notch, they do make you feel like you are important to them, and it shows. So that is part of the reason I am a return/multiple Synergy product user, I know no matter what I am dealing with a company that stands behind their products and is VERY FOCUSED on their consumers. Top notch. I would highly recommend this suit for anyone but especially those new to the sport, you cannot beat the high quality equipment at the given price point.

Update: not worth the headache save your money
UPDATE:Ok after several attempts at putting this thing on alone I have come to the conclusion that this thing is “premium price” for less than premium product! Honestly I’ve bought several synergy items all of witch are just not really that good. The leg openings are too big and the zipper is just garbage. This will be my 4th and lady Synergy purchase! Save your money and get one of the reputable brands or make sure you always have someone with you.Wish it were a little easier going on. It’s not bad at all to take off alone. As far as fit it it’s great. I gave it a test swim in the lake and it was great

Size up 1 (at least)!
I’m 5’6” and 135 lbs. Synergy’s chart says I’m a Small. Nope, a Medium is perfect. The suit itself appears well constructed and on a par with the Orca skin suit quality wise.

Sizing odd; no swim benefit
I've been in 15 triathlons from sprints to full Ironmans. I bought this swimskin because I'm doing a full in a couple weeks, and I'm afraid it won't be wetsuit legal. I'm somewhat slower without a wetsuit and hoped this would give me an edge. I'm pretty middle of the pack in swim speed. I'm right at the edge of the XL/XXL sizing as far as weight. What's with the sizing of swimskins? I'm usually a medium for bottoms and large for tops. Why are swimskins one or two sizes different? Anyway, the XXL wasn't available to purchase, and I figured XL would give me snugger fit. After a 1.75 mile swim, I had a good amount of the arm seams cutting into my front shoulders and lats in back to make me not want to wear it again. As far as my swim time, I didn't cut off any time over just swimming with jammers. Water does bead up and fall off but this did not translate to more speed for me. Maybe I'm not fast enough to see any benefit or maybe the sizing wasn't quite right. In the end, I probably won't ever use this swimskin again. Waste of $130 for me.

It is really water repellent.
Great Suit - fits perfect, not too hard to put on. It is literally stays dry and not absorbs drop of water. I checked my time on 100 m and I was surprised 1000 %, because I was expecting to shave 5-7 second, but instead I did 10 second better.I didn't test it in the pool (it says on the label that chlorine water will damage the fabric).Could be little cheaper than $ 129.95

PERFECT FIT
I’m 5’–10” tall 157 lbs. and the medium size fits me perfectly. The design put you in a very streamline position, but you never feel tight. I had swam in open water in two occasions with it and definitely my swim felt more efficiently. I will compete in a 70.3 in the near future, so l will update my first impression after the event.
